Amazing pastries! Large selection. Staff was very friendly. They also serve lunch, pizza etc. Great indoor and outdoor eating. The picture of my blueberry muffin was after to took a bite. So many blueberries inside, just delicious

A convenient place for all 3 meals + ice cream. Good place for grab and go breakfast with pastry and sandwich options. Was there on a summer weekend and service was fairly quick for how busy it was.

I got coffee from here when I was camping at Horton camp resort. I really enjoyed the coffee. Also enjoyed the seating outdoor. Very nice and peaceful vibes. No table service. No indoor seating either. They had a broad variety of ice creams. If I ever go back to the area I would love to try their ice creams.

The savory pesto pizza was full of delicious fresh toppings. I highly recommend trying the oatmeal cream pie, it is simply sweet and wholesome with a touch of nostalgia. I waited for my pizza in the “savory side” and the food runner brought my pizza all the way out to the patio to sit in one of the many open outdoor tables (on a busy Saturday night too!) they have enough outdoor space for the whole family. The small pizza would be great to split with 2 people having 3 slices or one very hungry person! Outdoor seating with string lights among the trees was a perfect place to relax & re-fuel after a long beach day.

Not worth the money or attitude. We ordered two pizzas, a salad, and then got dessert. The pizzas were meh. The dessert was a disappointment. We bought a blueberry baked something or other and asked to have ice-cream on top. The baked blueberry item was tart and not in a ‘we did this intentionally’ kind of way.The person on the savory side said we had to walk over to the sweet side and wait in line with our purchased savory item and have them put ice cream on it for us. Really? That’s not good service in my opinion.

Also the price was really high for what we actually got. It’s a really weird atmosphere in there.

Not cozy at all and the chairs are uncomfortable. We sat all the way to the left of the store on the savory side and people kept slamming the door the whole time we were eating which was really obnoxious.

Definitely will not be going there again.

I tried the pizza, a few pastries, and the homemade ice cream. All are fantastic. I will be going here again anytime I’m in the area. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are fair. The help seemed a little rushed but very prompt. Excellent place to eat.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Homemade ice cream, too!
Always love coming here. Great outdoor seating under the trees.
Used to be open year round. Miss not having them open in autumn, winter, spring. They were popular with locals during the quiet seasons when nothing else was open.

Have been enjoying coming here for over 6 years now. From the early morning cold brew + glazed scones to the breakfast/lunch options you can always find something quick and tasty. The staff, especially Jody & Lacy are always friendly to me and my wife. The celebration cake ice cream at the sweet escape is to die for. Note: Ice cream is cash only so bring greenbacks or use the atm in house. Lastly to the noob saying the waffle cone was burned, they make cinnamon brown sugar waffle cones thus they’re a little darker in appearance than the average waffle at other places. Don’t hesitate to stop in and I’d also suggest ordering ahead for bigger orders during the summer. Just call and then you don’t wait when you get there.

Excellent pizza, great sauce, crust and cheese served hot. Then they have a bakery counter with beautiful little cakes, scones, muffins, brownies and cookies that all looked amazing, if only I had room after the pizza. In an adjoining room, the ice cream choices are amazing. The smell of the fresh baked waffle cones is intoxicating, the ice cream is to die for. Don’t miss this fabulous lunch and snack place! I wish them many years of success so we can keep coming back
