Upscale in Bohemia. It is an oddity that you can have a fine dining restaurant where all the clientele feel comfortable down dressing almost to absurdity. But, that seems the norm for this restaurant. The service is attentive, prompt, and provides a curated experience for their customers. It is a small and shareable portions type.of place and strangely enough you still walk away full. The food is differtiated by adding so.e middle eastern spice to time tested favorites – and it does seem to work very well. The food is exceptional. Now, one thing to note is even if you are early, they seem to run out of items on the menu – so if you are a pescatarian you may not have the option of any fish dishes available when you order. The restaurant is cozy, and could be easily considered romantic. Seating on 23 patrons you will not feel crowded or rushed. It is my second time dining at this establishment over the last 3 years and though the ownership has changed the quality and spirit of accessible upscale dining has not. Well done.

Fine dining restaurant that has great food and service but is ABSURDLY priced. Food is freshly made and full of flavor. Service is great, though we went when it we nearly empty. But, the prices are ridiculous like $13 for bread!! We don’t mind paying for great vegetarian food, but this place was over the top.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The tasting menu was incredible, every course was genuinely delicious and beautifully done, with no weak spots at all.
The service was on point, friendly, attentive, and never over the top. And the vibe was perfect, relaxed but special, the kind of place you want to stay longer than planned.
Absolutely worth it. I’ll be back.

My two friends and I ate at Savory to celebrate a birthday. We were delighted by the tasting menu. At least 8 courses were offered and each one was unique, perfectly prepared with unique flavors. I have to say my favorite was the beet carpaccio, which is strange for me to say. I normally dislike beets. I will definitely go to Savory again when I am in Langley.

We did the Tuesday tasting menu to celebrate a birthday and could not be happier with our experience. All the courses were delicious and substantial, we were stuffed by the end of the meal! The ambience was very warm and inviting, our server very friendly. Highly recommend!

Really cozy spot to get some great food with a cozy and classy atmosphere. They don’t take reservations, but you can always call ahead to check wait times + have an open table held for 15 minutes if they’ve got one, or get your name written down on their list. Really enjoyed my salmon with wild rice, and their daily roasted veggies were the perfect texture with an amazing tahini harissa sauce drizzled on top with pine nuts. The rotating specials sounded super good too, but were sold out tonight. Definitely worth a fancy night out in Langley!

I feel lucky to have been able to come here! They only have very few tables, we arrived right after they opened at 4:30pm on Saturday and got one of the very last ones, definitely go early to avoid a wait. The restaurant has a romantic atmosphere and is very cozy.
Had the smoked salmon appetizer which was refreshing and the Mafalda Carbonara for the entree which had a strong prosciutto taste, I enjoyed it but if you don’t like prosciutto then skip this dish. Loved the Savory Sparkler (sparkling wine with fruit juice)!

Great views of the ocean (we caught the sunset!), open later than most other local restaurants, and delicious food. The menu is packed with great sounding food. I had the salmon with wild rice and it was fantastic. The wine menu is large, the restaurant is cute, and the service was great.

Sometimes when restaurants first open there’s a bit of an awkward period as the restaurant gets into its rhythm. Not so with Savory. Ambience is cozy and comfortable. Service is excellent. The owners are charming. Timing for the food is excellent, and the food (!) Yum. I think Savory may be my new favorite place in Langley – I look forward to revisiting repeatedly to be sure.

Stephan and staff catered our intimate wedding on June 18, 2022. The food is always the most important feature to a wedding and Savory hit it out of the park. Everything was delicious and every guest complimented us on our choice of caterer. The next time you are in Langley, WA on Whidbey Island, a meal at Savory is a must.
