This is a great idea and decent desert place to try something different but don’t go with highly expectations for good cheesecake as all you taste is the toppings. I was very disappointed in the banana pudding one as it definitely had the “fake” banana flavor even though there were real bananas on top. The chocolate crunch/brownie explosion (not pictured) was okay but would have been better without the brownie as that is what brought the flavor down. The vanilla ice cream (not pictured) was the worst ice cream we have ever had!

I came across this place on TikTok & decided to stop by today for my birthday. They did not disappoint! Clean, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, & great cheesecake!!! Definitely worth the drive from Winston-Salem.

I’m so glad that my friend and I found this place. The staff was friendly, desserts amazing and the atmosphere was nice. We were able to get our treats, sit in peace and enjoy them. I love red velvet and the red velvet cheesecake was delicious. I will absolutely return. They also have good hours for the weekend. This would be a great date night.

This is not your ordinary dessert shop! They have different cakes and cheesecakes with different toppings. The apple pie and peach cobbler are my personal favorite with a freshness taste. The employees were welcoming and polite. They have a small dining area in the front and a bigger dining area towards the back. It’s a good place to stop by for some dessert!

A friend and myself visited on November 14th& this place was found while browsing Google for a nice black owned bakery type spot. We found it!!,met the delightful owner who was happy to explain her cakes& what makes them different. We tried one of the cheesecakes and the pound cake. The time, effort & flavor All stands out in each bite . This place is cute& has board games to pass the time which is a neat idea to me. Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!

I feel like this is definitely overrated for the price especially the banana whatever the crap that was. It’s just cream and vanilla wafers and and if you ask for bananas, they just put them on top so I paid seven dollars for cream and wafers. It was very disgusting.

And the apple crunch cheesecake thing was OK, but it just didn’t reach to my expectation as a bakery shop and for the pricing everything is pre-done and sitting for who knows how long

Idk won’t be going back

A family feel to a savory restaurant.

UPDATE 5/8/25:
Today I went in and had the worse experience of my life. There’s an employee or in her words the “owner’s daughter” named Rebekah that made me remove my name off the VIP Club list. What did she do? I’m glad you asked!!!
There’s a new employee, she has black hair with purple on the top, very sweet girl, asked a question, in the process of me answering Rebekah cuts me off and proceed to talk as if she didn’t hear me talk, THEN left her keys and air pods in the bathroom and came out accusing others of taking them without the accusations but the tone. You know I’ve sent quite a few referrals to the business and as of today I resend all the referrals and tell you the taste of Grandma cakes isn’t worth the rudeness that was displayed today.

I had the pleasure of going to this bakery today. I had been excited to visit every since they opened up this location, which is really conveniently placed near my work.
Upon first impression, I love the aesthetics of the shop. It is very bright and the other products they have in the store are delightful. I personally love Candy’s Tea and I am so glad I can buy it somewhere besides the Curb Market on Elam and Walker. I also love that they had whole coffee beans in bags and in jars. It is just adorable.
The sweets and treats all look wonderful. I had gotten a 16 oz. Vanilla Caramel Frappe and a Red Velvet Cupcake with pretty, light edible glitter on top. I was happy with the price, which was right around 5 bucks for both! The young lady who assisted me was very kind, patient, and considerate, offering help as I needed. She also packed my cupcake into a cute little bag with napkins.
I only had few issues. The first was that the cupcake was not red velvet like I thought. I might have been a yellow cake with red dye, but I can’t say for sure. It was, however, pleasantly moist and delightful to eat. The frosting was a bit too artificially sweet tasting for my liking and left a weird coating in my mouth. The second is that the frappe needs a bit more espresso and less sugary syrup. I see this as more of a personal preference really, so if you like sweet frappes, then this is the a go-to! My last issue is that the menu on the TV screens change really quickly so it is hard to read and browse it to make a choice. The menu is available online but, if I was just walking by and tried to get something, it would be difficult for me to catch the options. Luckily, everything is mostly available in the case and within eye’s view.
I will definitely be back because the storefront is so adorable, the staff are a delight, and I would love to try some of the other options, plus pick up some of the merchandise and products outside of the cases. Thank you so much and I am so glad you are in this location!
