LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!! I’ve been hitting up the Chriskindl Market in Sister Bay, it is a MUST-TRY! Their burgers are TO DIE FOR (seriously!! and i add BBQ sauce & it’s the perfect touch) and the mac n cheese is on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!!! Like, I’ve never had better! If you’re around Door County, you need to check them out. Support local and support amazing food, they’re bringing the HEAT! Can’t wait to come back for more!

Having been to the BBQ brisket capital of the world, Austin Texas a number of times and perfecting my own BBQ brisket, I have to say Savor BBQ & Taphouse serves up The Best my wife and I have enjoyed. My wife and I split the three meat plate which did not disappoint. The brisket was so tender and moist, just the right amount of smoke. The ribs and sausage was delicious as well. We went with the owner’s choice of sides, beans and creamy coleslaw. The beans were spot on, blending a little smoked meat and tender, sweet beans. Coleslaw was great. They include some slivered sweet onion, pickle slices and sliced jalapeno peppers. All this really balanced the richness of the savory meats. Their homemade BBQ sauces are a great compliment. Many of the restaurants on the peninsula include their sauces with some entrees. We’ll be back for sure.

What a great place to eat! I have heard all the buzz about it but now that I have eaten there I will say that it has my favorite sandwich of all time. Being that we were in Door County I wanted to try something different so I got the Gaucho. It was a brisket with cream cheese, cherry jam and jalapeños. It was the perfect bit of sweet and spicy! We had great service and we wanted to thank Journey for being our waitress! I give it a 10/10! I can’t wait for our next trip even if it’s just to visit SAVOR Barbeque & Taphouse again

A new micro small new place in the heart of Sister Bay..
We walked from the Open Hearth to Al Johnsons and saw this new place, hmmm BBQ in Door..that’s something Ive gotta try.
So in the return walk we stopped in and chatted up the owner, who we could tell has a real passion for food.
We ordered the 3 meat sample plate, though honestly we were stuffed from Al’s. We tried the pork ends, brisket and pulled chix. Sides were baked beans and potato salad. To drink I had the blended/frozen cherry wine..
ALL awesome! We will be back!

Good bbq joint with a good menu selection and good food, if you’re in door county or sister bay its a great place to stop for food. I can recommend the smash burgers as I have yet to try anything else.

My wife loved her Drover sandwich and Sunset wine slushie. She was not sure about the Doritos on top but loved it once she tasted it. My Longhorn was great. We each added a bad of chips (glutton free). It was really hot inside so I cannot recommend sitting indoors. The outside seating was fine. There was a clean changing table in the bathroom as well.

It was a cold Sunday nite and we were greated fast , told brisket was what they where know for.we ordered that , ribs and sausage. Sides mac and cheeses , beans and corn bread .
We received a 1/4 inch slice of tough brisket.
Ribs had decent flavor, sausage was dry yet had good flavor. Sides Mac and cheese along with the beans where good . Corn bread c was dry .
It’s not a stop we would run back to but might try in the summer when they have both places open. I think they have a food truck
