Service was good— I asked the waiter to suggest what he liked and it was a good salad! He recommended I have some protein with it, but I didn’t take him up on that. Kinda regretted it, but that’s not his fault.
It was a nice dining experience, but the tables had a weird brown paper on top of the cloth. I didn’t know if that was typical or to prevent stains and spills.

The service was on point, fast, and very knowledgeable. The appetizers and main entrees were very elevated. The drink menu and desserts were just as elevated as well. You have to try the Blueberry Cobbler Cheesecake. The absolute best ever. Highly Recommend and ask for Ben. He was great.

Ordered room service did not expect much, smokehouse cobb salad, prime rib sandwich with sweet potatoes, cookie butter banana pie. Absolutely amazing! The chef cares and it shows. It’s worth staying at the hotel just to eat room service. Well done.

Food was alright, but we will not be back. The manager, Michael, is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered in my life, not only that but multiple times during our dinner I overheard him speaking disrespectfully to the staff who were great throughout our whole stay. We watched him verbally argue with a poor girl, as far as I’m concerned all the workers are students as well. Having someone like this is bad for business.

It’s easy to forget about the not-downtown restaurants in Athens, but my meal here was as good as anything I’ve had in town. The service (all students) was impeccable and prices are surprisingly reasonable. I had the crispy Brussels sprouts and the salmon entree with Gouda risotto, peas, and mushrooms. Everything was SO delicious and served beautifully. You don’t need to be a guest in the Georgia Center hotel to check this place out!

14 of us had Mother’s Day Brunch at the Savanna Room today. All 5 Mothers agreed it was the best brunch they’d ever had. From the salad bar to the shrimp and grits and southern fried chicken it was a wonderful experience. Dessert bar and so many sides were delicious also. It was a one of a kind buffet in all regards. We are setting our calendar for ‘26.

We decided to have dinner during the Restaurant Week in ATH and were very pleased with our experience @ The Savannah Room. Cole, our waiter, was so nice and took great care of us during our dining experience. Can’t say enough good things about the food! My filet was not only a great value but exceptional w/ asparagus & fingerling potatoes. My wife’s salmon was amazing too. It had been a long time since we had last dined here and kind of had overlooked it as a dining option but we are already looking forward to a return visit and hope to share with some friends so they too can enjoy this hidden gem. Thank you Savannah Room staff for a great dinner!

This restaurant is a great option for those staying in the UGA Center hotel. We were at a conference, had a long day and did not feel like driving around trying to find a table on a busy weekend night. The dinner at the Savannah Room was a very pleasant experience. Very chill, quiet and relaxing. The food was great, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The hotel is staffed primarily by students and they were doing a great job.

Terrible!!! Went for Easter Brunch. Trying to think of anything positive; tea and mimosa was good. Food would be below average cafeteria grade. Very disappointing after seeing good reviews on-line. Cakes were cold. Roast beef tasted like it came from a can. Very limited salad bar.
