Great atmosphere ,and the design is sea themed and I would say aesthetic. Beautiful!
The service was great, everyone was polite and we got our food pretty quick.
We ordered:
-Oysters ( “Dutchie Select ” been our favourite with a sweet note).
-House chips , ok like a snack .
-Lobster rolls ,delicious,with juicy and sweet lobster meat .
-Fried calamari, good appetiser.
We will come back again.

Our first time at Savannah Oyster Co. for date night at 6 pm on Saturday. We made reservations earlier in the week and showed up about 10 minutes early, We were greeted and promptly seated. Bobby (Ricky Bobby) was our waiter and he was awesome! He took time to explain the variety of oysters and answered any drink/menu questions we had. The food was great and came out in a timely manner. We had a few drinks, and they were also good. 8 oysters, 1 shared plate, 2 entrees, 1 dessert, and 3 alcoholic beverages were just under $180 (well worth the price). We parked in the lot across the street but there were also a few street parking spaces available (there wasn’t an event going on at the time of our reservations). We’ll definitely be returning!

Visited tonight for my mother’s birthday dinner! The food, overall, was quite good. The lobster roll was delicious, my brother and I both got it, and I swapped the house-made chips for a side of Brussel sprouts, which were both good. My mother got the salmon Florentine, which was also quite delicious. However, my father did not enjoy his gumbo and was not given an additional plate to place the tails of his shrimp, it’s the little things! Regardless, the service as a whole was quite frustrating. We had to inquire twice for alcoholic drinks after ordering them, once for all of the drinks to come, and then again for my mother’s drink to come (my mother got up once, going to ask for our drinks, but she didn’t ask when she saw they were coming. However they went to a different table, so I asked when the server walked by. Then my mother’s drink still had not come for some time, so my father got up). For more context, we finished our appetizer before the alcoholic drinks came (i.e. we waited a long time, at least 20-30 minutes). Always disappointing when you go to a nice restaurant and get poor service. They did, at least, cover my mother’s drink and one of the desserts we got. Disappointing, especially for such a special occasion, but there were some undeniably good parts.

Savannah Oyster Co has become a staple for us since moving here. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on Wednesday and had not only a fantastic meal, but the service and atmosphere was stellar. We loved our champagne toast to kick the night off!!! The attention to detail, friendly staff, and drinks are unbelievable!
