Excellent dining experience featuring crispy, flavorful fries with a savory homemade seasoning; a delicious pesto chicken panini; grilled chicken salad bowl with two types of tasty homemade “gourmaise” on the side; and a chocolate frappe for dessert. The owner was also our cook and server, and he was delightful to chat with during our meal. This is also a good place off Franklin St to stop and work or enjoy a meal with a friend or partner. It’s a hole in the wall location but with great lasting potential. I want to spread the word about Saturni to more people to ensure the business gets the attention and customer traffic it deserves!

This place felt like a hidden gem! The food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was lovely. The service wasn’t the best but it seemed like only one person was handle the shop which made the service very understandable. Out food came out quickly and hot. I left with left overs and a good time. will definitely go again to study or just eat.

A one-of-kind hidden gem in the chapel hill area which is extremely hard to find! I ordered the lambwich with fries and I couldn’t even finish my plate from how filling and delicious it was! The fries were crisp yet fluffy inside with a light homemade savory seasoning! I can’t stop raving about the sandwich either to my friends! The meat was prepared and cooked on the spot which allowed for an extremely fresh taste. I can’t wait to come back to try something else! Cute place with nice outdoor seating. There isn’t much indoor seating since the area is cozy, but it’s got decent space. I got the dragonfruit lychee refresher (refreshing indeed) and sat in to do some homework for a couple of hours. their menu items are like $5, and its a good amount. Outside tables have umbrellas for shade.

This place kinda caught us by surprise. Food was great and service was excellent. We got the chicken Maharaja and Lambwich. Both sandwich meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We visited on a crisp fall afternoon and the outdoor seating was such a joy, will definitely be back again.

First time at this new restaurant. Walking into Saturni felt “good” – unassuming but so welcoming, the food made to your preference, and the staff are warm, welcoming, and completely authentic. It’s a nice cozy environment in chapel Hill with outdoor seating as well. We visited during the holiday break so probably not a lot of people/students around. It was empty when we visited there only one person managing the store. We ordered 3 sandwiches with fries. Food was good but the service was very slow. It took almost 25mins to get the food. Want to give another try when they have more staff.

after visiting the lovely cat tales cafe around the corner, i was thirsty and wanted a drink. i walked around the corner and saw signs of “best drinks this way.”
as i sat down on the stool by the entrance, i listened in on the conversation between the customer and the employee. they asked for certain items on the menu but they didn’t have the ingredients to make them. the employee said “i can make you toast with bacon…” they weren’t interested.
i waited about 10 minutes for a salted caramel mocha. turns out they also didn’t have caramel so i got the vanilla instead. when the order was being prepared the employee was frantically dropping cups, running around and wiping dripping sweat from his face.
once i got my order, it was incorrect. it was missing the mocha, the main ingredient in the drink… had to wait 5 minutes to get that fixed. i then waited about another 5 minutes to pay. a women there before me received her drink and didn’t get charged for it until after me.
when i sat outside the cat cafe, i saw the women who were in Saturni. they took a sip from their matcha and smoothies then threw out their drinks. not even getting a quarter of the way through it. they said it was awful. i took a sip of mine and was equally disgusted and disappointed.
the staff did not appear prepared, there was a chair in the middle of the kitchen in the way, and the service was not good.
i will not be back and if i could give them 0 stars i would

I’ve been here twice now and have had a great experience both times. The first time I had a Frappuccino and the second time I had the Maharaja chicken sandwich. Both excellent! I definitely recommend!
