The food was excellent, 5 stars. Service could definitely use some work though. Sat at the bar for a quick bite. There was a gentleman at the bar but he was pretty much ignoring me, perhaps he was assistant staff and not the bartender. I flagged the host down after ten minutes to ask if I could order and that’s when she sent a server over.
After the server took my order I didn’t see her again. I finished my apps and decided to go elsewhere for entrees as I didn’t want to keep waiting for service. I then had to flag the host again to pay. It wasn’t busy either so I wasn’t sure what the issue was.

Absolutely loved this place. My first time wont be my last time. The staff was very nice and the food was extremely fresh. The serving size was large and the plating was very nice. I can’t wait to go back! (Seasome chicken is pictured.)

Satto was DISSAPOINTING. I had a similar experience to another comment. The food is great, that’s why it was my 5th time going. But every time prices keep increasing out of nowhere (teriyaki chicken w/ fried rice used to be 15, then 19, then now fried rice isn’t included anymore so 23$). The waitress did NOT tell us that sudden change (the meal comes with white rice only now); she had us buy the teriyaki chicken (19) and a fried rice (4) separately. So at least we should get the fried rice AND white rice… since that’s what we paid for. I thought she just forgot, so I kindly asked for the white rice but the waitress got irritated then obviously angry. She ended up giving it to us cuz we were right… It was an awkward experience.
What a shame, used to be a nice place for students due to reasonable prices (used to pay 30 ish total w/ my roommate and now more like 60$). For this price you expect a decent service.
But yeah everyone has their struggles so I have nothing personal against them, the food is still very good (notably the yellow jacket sushi roll wow).

Satto is my favorite restaurant in ATL. I love the Pad Thai, and the Massaman curry is so delicious I could eat it every day. The portions are large and the flavors are perfectly balanced and rich. The sushi is also amazing and the staff is always very welcoming and kind. They are fast with preparing pick up orders and always pack the to-go boxes very neatly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also cute! Overall 11/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! Will definitely be coming back again. The sushi was one of the best rolls I’ve had. The pepper steak was delicious. Also best pot stickers ever, they were perfectly crunchy! Service was good too.

I wasn’t even that hungry but I ate the entire sushi roll cause it was so good The wasabi here was the best I ever tried and it was very spicy. Also the calamari was fantastic. Over all 10/10 experience.

I visited Satto Thai and Sushi Bar near Georgia Tech on a Saturday night. It’s a cute, casual local spot with a cozy atmosphere — nothing fancy, but welcoming.

We ordered the Penang Curry with tofu, Pad Thai with chicken, and Pad See Ew with beef. The beef was definitely the best protein — tender and juicy. The fried tofu was also tasty with a nice texture. The chicken in the Pad Thai was on the dry side, which was a bit disappointing.

Service was friendly, and the portions were generous, which is always a plus. Overall, it’s not the best Thai food I’ve had, but it was solid and satisfying. A good option if you’re in the area and want something casual and filling.

The food is incredible. This place is truly a hidden gem. Most people get their curries and rices – but this is easily the best Sushi place in Atlanta hands down.

This was a nice place to have lunch or dinner and chill. The food tasted great and we enjoyed sitting near the window to people watch. The music was nice and not too loud and our waitress was attentive and polite. The parking is free on the side for two hours which is plenty of time, just screenshot the qr scan code once you come inside. It wasn’t very busy when we went on Saturday around 5:30ish. They are reasonable priced and we will return.

Such a great spot! Affordable sushi and great portions. There is also ample seating and good service. There’s a free parking space next to the restaurant for those worried (although not the safest but definitely a good option).

We got three roles, Sexy, Optimistic, and After the Rain.

** Not very many vegetarian options though.
