Been a while since I have been. Stopped by to try it again and I enjoyed my lunch. I think the salad is ok but the ginger dressing feels a little sweet. The gyoza was great and I ordered some tempura sushi. The energy roll was good. The tempura batter was a little thick but I enjoyed the taste and they cut it small enough to eat without cutting it up. All came out to less than 20$ after a tip.

This place left an amazing first impression on me. The service was wonderful, the food, and the dessert. Our fried oysters and gyozas for starters were amazing! They give you miso soup and salad on the house and it’s so great! I ordered the Yakisoba for the main meal, and it was delicious! My sister got the salmon bento box, and my Dad got the octopus poke bowl, and it was delicious as well This place is wonderful and a must try. We will be stopping by every time we travel through Montgomery from now on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This used to be a really great sushi place however and recently changed management and with it the food quality has also changed. We normally go and get the beef bulgogi but you could tell They were cutting corners with the quality of the meat as well as how it was being cooked. They’ve also changed most of their sushi rolls both in name and ingredients. Hopefully it gets better at some point. I’m willing to try it again in the future just not right away

***Update since new ownership. 5 to 1 star. I will be surprised if this place lasts for much longer. Use to be a favorite spot for us, ordering a few times a month. Their parking lot is always empty now. My husband loved their lunch/dinner sushi special. Ordered online like I have done several times, husband goes to pick up and the older lady at the front was rude and didn’t understand. Nice young man came out to help with the communication. He explained they don’t have online ordering anymore. Husband showed him the confirmation, receipt, and bank charge. He explained the previous owner had that service in place and he has access to these funds not the new owner. We explained they needed to disable the option then because now we have to dispute this charge with our bank. Lady goes to the back and within mins option is disabled…you should have taken care of this prior to taking over. Young man asked my husband if he would still like to place order, my husband asked about the special. They no longer offer a lunch/dinner special and gave him a price of $30 plus tax for two golden tiger rolls, so double the price. My husband kindly declined. We will be looking for a new spot. The old lady needs to learn some customer service skills. They also need to update their website, they have an entirely different menu and prices but online shows the prior menu and pricing, very misleading.
This place is always on point. Great service, atmosphere and the food is always delicious. Regular spot for sushi, love their bento boxes. Friendly and kind staff keep us coming back. The prices are fantastic as well.

Everything here is great so it was surprising to see it wasn’t busier than it was. It was very clean on the inside and the staff were very helpful. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. The jalapeño bombs were a little spicy (as expected ) and just right. All of our risks were delicious! We really enjoyed our sunrise roll, energy roll, shinjuku roll, and golden tiger roll. I will be back!

I ordered the Philly rolls and a teriyaki bowl. The rolls were good. Prices aren’t bad either. Wasn’t a big fan of the teriyaki bowl. It was a bit too sweet for my liking. I’d return for sushi though. One thing I will Point out.. when I came in to pick up my order, I noticed the floors were extremely sticky. You could hear your shoes getting stuck on the floor.

What can I say? Traveling through to Mississippi and Louisiana and we stopped here and it is amazing. The staff is so friendly and nice the food is beyond delicious the food placement is above and beyond. The teriyaki sauce taste like authentic teriyaki sauce. I ate the teriyaki salmon bento box and it was above and beyond. They have miso soup that is out of this world! Their fried tempura ice cream is delicious and oh my goodness delicious gyoza and fried oysters! I loved every bite. I left there so full I felt like a stuffed turkey on thanksgiving. Wish we had one in NC where I live!

This place really hits the spot! The Jjamppong and Kanpoong shrimp were amazing—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and sourness. There are plenty of options on the menu, and I can’t wait to come back and try the Vietnamese noodles and Tangsuyook!
