First time trying this place out & it was on point. Guy that welcomes you is super friendly, He speaks Spanish and English. I got a few pounds to go, that’s right you can buy the carnitas by the pound which I think was $13.99 or so. I didn’t get a receipt so not sure as we had added a few other things. The sauces were soooo good and it comes with tortillas & pico. All you need is to do is build your tacos There are a few different types of canitas; carnitas just meat, carnitas mix and another which I do not remember. We tried both and my fav was just the meat although both were good. I got a steak quesadilla which was a hit with all of us, not bad for $5 addition. It’s a hole in the wall worth trying. Definitely a must try in Wichita.

These are the best carnitas in Wichita! Amazing hole-in-the-wall, a true gem. We love to order meat by the pound and make our own tacos, loaded with all the fixings. The owner is very passionate about the food and culture. He said it takes about 6 hours everyday to prepare the carnitas. This has become my go-to place to satisfy my cravings. Also do NOT forget to try the horchata drink, they do it Guadalajara style and it’s very refreshing!

Carnitas are good but when you place a order to go and you know how much the pound is plus taxes the owner does not specify that he charges 1 to 2 dollars more per i guess pound to carry out. I have never heard this before until 2 weeks ago. I bought 6 lbs and I knew more or less it would be $83.00. Then my daughter placed another order the next day for 7Lbs and was charged $121.00. Dude over charged my daughter 10.00 for that reason. I know times are tough but its not right to over charge people. I will never go there again or recommend that place. How many people has he ripped off through out the years. Shame Shame.

Food is fantastic! We actually didn’t plan on getting food here, but my brother works close by, so we grabbed food to cut down on stops. That was a happy little accident because the pulled pork is delicious. Grabbed a beef burrito for my niece, and she loved it. Everything was fresh and cooked to order by the manager/owner. Stop in!

Very good carnitas ! The meat is very tender and has a really good taste to it.The salsas are also really good , they are actually made out of chiles and tomatoes and not watered down salsas like other restaurants. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good lunch. One of the best places to get your carnitas in Wichita !

Came here because mi lindo michoacan was closed didn’t expect this place to be just as good, the carnitas are less fatty and flavourful, there sauces taste better but michoacans tortillas are softer. By word of mouth this place will be popular, the gentleman that work there are passionate of what they do and that’s what makes for a successful business
