My poke bowl was fresh and balanced and very healthy. The rice was cooked nicely, maintaining its structural integrity without becoming sticky. And I loved the mango mixed in with the ahi; I was just commenting how too few places use fresh fruit in their poke mix, and Satori must’ve subconsciously heard my pleas.
I never had hand rolls before. I thought they were all adventurous. I loved the addition of the nuts. Smoked Marlin was superb.
We loved salty miso soup. The only thing that I didn’t like was the cucumber salad. There were very few cucumbers on the bed of wilted, yellowing greens.
We loved lemon rose chocolate truffles and Gingerade.
I hope to come again when I am visiting Maui.
I got their special dragon roll. It was fishy; the ahi was not fresh at all. 25$ for nothing (see photos attached). Also 15$ for a tiny ramen??? The flavor was not the greatest either.
Sushi bowl was delicious, (fresh fish!) definitely worth the price. But don’t even get me started on the salad side… 5$ for a piece of lettuce???
We spent overall 90$ for 50% rice, 40% plants, and 10% fish (split among 3 people).
Very beautiful food and I loved the inclusion of herbs/plants but the prices are ridiculous for the portion size. This is barely enough to feed a toddler. Also I feel bad for the chef because he is also taking orders AND cooking. I can only imagine how stressful that gets during peak hours.
Takes a while but so delicious! Sit down and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait – it’s worth it!
I got the roots on fire and the special which was a vegan roll with hamakua mushrooms. So tasty!
