I mean $15.99 for a bowl of ramen is alright, but $7.99 for takoyaki is lowkey insane for me.
Definitely planning on coming back regardless, but yk. In addition, their wall of artwork is quite cool too!
I just had the worst bowl of my life. I dont know if it was the black garlic or the broth but the whole bowl tasted like it got passed through a charcoal filter. I didnt even come close to finishing which is a rarity for me. The pork still tasted ok but the rest was pretty inedible unless you like burnt stuff. I’ve gotten the Spicy bowl more times than I can count; this was crazy.
The dude at the counter also seemed way more interested in his phone than asking me if everything was ok. I paid and tipped and left. I hope this doesn’t become a trend it would break my heart!
The ramen at Sato Ramen is undeniably satisfying. Each bowl boasts rich, flavorful broth that’s a testament to the care and expertise put into its preparation. Whether you prefer a traditional tonkotsu or a lighter miso broth, Sato Ramen delivers on taste and authenticity. The noodles are cooked to perfection, striking a delicate balance between chewy and tender.
One standout dish at Sato Ramen is the crispy chicken, which can only be described as phenomenal. The chicken is expertly fried to achieve a crispy exterior while maintaining juicy tenderness inside. The combination of spices and seasoning elevates the dish to a level of culinary excellence that keeps patrons coming back for more.
Beyond the exceptional food, Sato Ramen offers a unique ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. The concept of allowing patrons to draw and contribute to the wall decor is both creative and engaging. It fosters a sense of community and adds a personal touch to the restaurant, making each visit a memorable one.
In conclusion, Sato Ramen on Main Street in Buffalo is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic ramen and delicious Japanese-inspired dishes. With flavorful ramen, phenomenal crispy chicken, and an inviting atmosphere, Sato Ramen stands out as a gem in Buffalo’s culinary scene.
