I was referred there for the wings and got some shrimp also and they both were good. But I did NOT appreciate a 20% gratuity being added to my order, which was $6.20 when I did NOT dine in!!! I placed a to go order so why would I be charged a gratuity fee when no one did anything to deserve a tip?

My first time going and on a Sunday atmosphere was great, helping my nephew celebrate his birthday. I really enjoyed myself . I love that they have a smoking area. The wings are Great. As avid swing dancers, we stopped in to check out the Sunday night old-school dance vibe. We were not disappointed and found the venue a safe and friendly place to get some dancing in to the tunes spun by DJ Drake!
We will be back and hopefully get a taste of some of the food as the offerings are right up my alley on the soul food side. But tonight was about dancing and dancing, we did!

If youre looking for a ratchid drunk place to end in this is it. Crowd I would say 30s to 50s. People actually dance! No drama just drunk people having a good time. Place is full of smoke so I couldnt stay longer then an hour. Also a 10$ cover charge which is insane since there were no seats unless you reserved a table. Also only accepts cash, no card or cash app which is insane. The place only has about 10 tables. Very small building. So packed on a saturday night that the bar wasnt wven a thought. I would have been leaving by the time I got to order.

I would like to know if the people at the satellite restaurant supports the black community as much as they support them. For example, donating school supplies to some of the elementary schools in the city of Richmond, donating supplies to black churches in the area, or whatever they could think of that will actually help the black community that pays all their bills. I would love to see you African-American people that party there every Saturday to ask who are you donating to and the black community other than that we need to pull our money back and find another spot.
So to the satellite from this day forward you should be donating to the black community or the black community should stop coming to your establishment. Black people get it together. Black people get it together you always complaining about somebody not helping you but you will love and go run out and support people that don’t help you. I don’t understand? Make it makes sense.
