Absolutely Awful – Save Yourself the Trouble
I don’t even know where to start, but this place was a disaster from the moment I walked in. The hostess looked like she’d rather be anywhere else, and after waiting 20 minutes despite having a reservation, we were finally seated—right next to the bathroom. Lovely.
We ordered drinks. They took forever. When they finally arrived, my soda was flat and my friend’s cocktail tasted like regret and dish soap. The menu was confusing and overpriced, but we were hungry, so we ordered anyway. Big mistake.
The food showed up cold. Not lukewarm—cold. My “medium rare” steak was basically raw in the middle, while the mashed potatoes had the texture of wallpaper paste. My partner’s pasta tasted like someone boiled rubber bands in ketchup and called it a day.
The server vanished for most of the night, except when they showed up at the end to aggressively push dessert, which we declined out of self-preservation. Oh, and to top it all off, the bathroom had no toilet paper and smelled like a gas station.
Save your money. Eat literally anywhere else—your own kitchen, a vending machine, or even gas station sushi would probably be a better experience.

Terrible place. This establishment has been unkind, rude, arrogant, etc. Not only myself but my family has been treated unfairly by the bar’s bartenders and owners. Accused of multiple of things without checking the cameras or anything. Only relayed by word of mouth. The beverages are also over priced and not correctly made. Terrible terrible customer service. Will not attend again, and I hope you do the same.

I’ve lived in Chetek for years and I’ve very rarely had a good experience at sassy’s. Pretty much every time I go here the bartenders are rude and always giving me and whomever I go with a hard time. Very overpriced for the way we get treated. I’ve been told story’s by others I know that have had the same issues and issues with being accused of things they didn’t do. Will never recommend anyone to go here unless they want to be treated horribly by whoever is bartending.

Good prices for drinks, outdoor seating, friendly staff. They always have hilarious shirts for sale. I pretty much get one every time I go in there. And that’s quite a bit in the summer because we own a couple of camping lots near Chetek.

Clean,fun place, staff is super friendly, and the folks there are probably the nicest around. No less than 4 different groups offering up spare stools so our small group could have a seat.
