We’re Sassafras Specialties LLC, and we’ve been a premier coffee shop here in Green Lake, WI, since 2014. We’re a family friendly store and we offer morning pastries, salads, fruit, and more! We specialize in fast food and fresh drinks, serving breakfast all day, fresh-baked pastries, and other baked goods from scratch every morning. Many of our goodies are homemade using as many local ingredients as possible. We also offer a wide variety of specialty drinks including espresso-based drinks, flavored teas, and non-fat frozen smoothies. We’re looking forward to partnering with Green Lake, Ripon, and Berlin to continue serving fresh morning coffee and breakfast to our community.

We love it here and I give it 3 stars only because they are ALWAYS sold out of pastries by 9 am and it’s been like that for years. It’s frustrating to always see empty shelves and have no options. Please, please start to order accurately for your community’s demand!

Went in for breakfast almost every morning we were there, wonderful food, and amazing service followed. The hot chocolate and apple turn overs are to DIE for! Then in the afternoon we went back for ice cream! This was simply DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the Sassy way chocolate ice cream! Definitely a 100/5!

Popped in to grab some coffee beans. Was thrilled with the customer service and the commitment to keeping customers and staff safe. Mask requirement for customers, staff wearing masks, and a dedicated distancing plan within the store. Have been buying coffee from Sassafras for years, and will continue to do so going forward!
