Ordered the lunch special online for takeout today. The spicy crunch salmon roll needed a bit more spice and a bit more crunch. The pepper tuna avacado roll was great, solid chunks of ahi. Miso soup as expected.

I wish I could give them a zero*but that’s not an option. They are completely disrespectful. I can’t believe they treat their customers like this there’s definitely a language barrier, which makes it twice as hard. we ordered a bunch of food and soda after we were done with are drinks they asked us for more drinks which made it sound like the drinks were free. When they brought the soda to are table I asked them if the drinks were free for a refill and they told me no… so I asked her to take a drink back because it made it sound like the drinks were free. She said it’s OK this time just next time know that there’s a charge so I thought that she wouldn’t charge me for the drinks. And she also said she wasn’t gonna charge us but when it comes to the bill she charges for all the drinks and extra drinks that we didn’t order. She was saying that she never say not to worry about the drinks and was being disrespectful. Also me and all my friends are very sick from the food. Idk what they did to the food but I’m so sick I’m very coming here again!!!!

Service was fast, food was AMAZING! Prices were fair- especially the Wagyu beef- Sashimi style! Literally melts in your mouth; Place was nice and clean, the waiters were very friendly and the menu…Good luck, so many options I wished I ordered half of it! All in all, I’ll definitely be back!

AWFUL, terrible, pushy service at an empty place. I want to preface this by saying I don’t usually go through the trouble of writing reviews, but it would be a shame for more people to waste their money on this place. I was taking my family out to dinner for my wife’s birthday and wanted hibachi. Looking on Google we thought the reviews were good and it was nearby. We sat down for hibachi and were having a fine enough time, the food was ok, but from the beginning we noticed that the service started off pushy and the staff, in particular one waitress, was rude and would come up to us to hurrily take away plates while we were still eating, mind you it was 5 in the afternoon and we are one of the three parties in the whole place, as it was empty. As we were eating, my family and I are talking, and the waitress is in my face asking if we want anything else, she’s in a fervor to get us out while we were there just under an hour and she can clearly see we are still eating and drinking. She asks not once, not twice, but three times if we wanted dessert in my face, I told her we were okay for now, please give us a minute, I’ll ask my family, but then while she’s hovering over me, she goes on and impatiently interrupts my family who are in the midst of conversation if they wanted dessert (again, in an empty restaurant, rushing us to leave). It was extremely rude to have someone hovering over you, trying to rush and be hostile, and really gives a bad name to the restaurant as a whole.

Went for a work event. Staff was very nice and friendly. The food quality was typical for hibachi, portions were big. I did feel like the place had a funny smell, I’m not sure what it was, musty or something, that’s my main issue w the place and why I would not go back. Parking and location are very good.

I took my wife to Sasa for her 32nd birthday on St. Patty’s Day. She loves the food especially the hibachi fried rice and the bento boxes. We like to order here frequently as the restaurant has good food and it’s a beautiful restaurant. My wife used to get hibachi cheifs for her birthday growing up and they would take family photos at Ohana Japanese restaurant in City Island, NY. The restaurant was just as beautiful. And so she wanted to capture a similar experience at SASA. She purchased a Polaroid type camera and asked for the photos to be taken on the spot .At this point in time we had the restaurant to our selves as it was early on during the day I suppose. That happens to us often. Anyway, the desert is delicious which includes the birthday desert. And the fried oreos. Highly recommend those.

Went there today on Easter to celebrate the holiday and 1 year of meeting my now wife and we all loved the food. The rice, chicken, veggies, soup, salad, meat and sushi were all amazing. Great hibachi master and Staff. Had the fried oreos and mousse and they were fantastic. I can’t wait to go back here again. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food.

Reservation was made for my brother’s birthday. Got there and had to wait for a table. The place was so loud I had to literally scream to order the food, I couldn’t hear the waitress, the waitress couldn’t hear me. She won’t walk closer to take the order but to stand behind the hibachi grill. I had a headache from the noise and my throat hurt after ordering the three plates for myself and my kids. Not once did the waitress come back to ask if we needed anything. I ran out of water and was not given anymore water for the night. I had to wait and wait to finally stop a waitress to get a spoon for the rice. My sister had to track down someone to get the check. The hibachi food was too salty/too much msg, though the sushi was good. Overall, not a good experience and will not go back.

Had left a great review on yelp, but now still coming to this place after years the quality has gone down! I don’t know if there’s been a change in ownership or just staff, but I try to go elsewhere and choose this as my quick place as it’s always on my way. Prices are comparable to any location as well as the lunch special, and I understand the increase in prices over the last two yrs. However the sushi could be better. The rice has been too mushy, the tempura soft, spicy rolls not spicy anymore and the extra sauces $1 more vs the $.50 it used to be. Not as in love as I used to be, but still worth going to. The staff is great here thats for sure, and it’s in a great location, try it out for lunch one day, still good sushi overall!
