We ordered a classic chicken Parmesan pizza 16 inch hand tossed, but we made half of it with Philly cheesesteak. So the pizza was actually good as far as the crust, sauce, cheese etc BUT the chicken they use is not real chicken or it’s more like blended ground chicken with binders and fillers that gives a spongy texture which is pure trash. We didn’t even attempt to eat it. I don’t think using real chicken costs that much more so not sure why they don’t or they should at least make it an option and allow people to pay a couple bucks more for real meat. The Philly cheesesteak meat was good though, I just wouldn’t order chicken pizza from this place.

I honestly don’t see how this place gets such good reviews. I went to the Saruzzo’s at 2616 Blodgett St on 3/1/26. The pepperoni pizza we ordered was awful. The bottom of the crust was burnt and the sauce had a really weird taste. Any grocery store pizza is better than what I had. Stay away from this place.

Man! Pizza is exceptional, I was trying to order through DoorDash but it wasn’t letting me add to the cart. They had a 2 for 1 deal on the garlic knots on DoorDash so I thought I was screwed. I ordered through the website and asked if they could throw the deal still. Little did I know, I picked up my order and BAM two garlic knots orders for the price of one. They even put SURE! with a smiley face on the pizza box. Best pizza in Houston.
