Stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat. Parking was tight and we had to walk a little bit. But this small establishment was such an unexpected delight! We had food that we have never had before. The flavors were out of this world! We were fortunate to meet the owner/cook and tell him how pleased we were with everything. It was a little loud there while friends carried on conversations with the owner, but I think that was to be expected possibly due to the culture. Fantastic French and Creole Cuisine in addition to America. Beer and Wine are available. We so love this place and will visit again if we get a chance to return to the keys. Many Blessings to Delice and Christela and their families for 2026.

We were vacationing in Key west for the week and stumbled upon this gem. Walking in the restaurant, we immediately knew we picked the right place based on the amazing smells. It was a smaller place, giving us a more intimate setting and a break from the crowds. We all ordered different dishes and all of us were more than pleased with our meals. It was the best food we had while in town for over a week. If you’re in the area, and looking for really great authentic food, go check it out!! Great prices, lovely owners and the best pasta ever tasted. ❤️❤️

Great meal, great vibes! The snapper was our table favorite, but all the entrees were 10/10. The fresh veggies, the attention to detail was something we will always remember. Great service too! We will be coming back next time we are in Key West, thanks for such a great experience

If you’re looking for Caribbean food absolutely packed with flavor, Mo’s Restaurant is a MUST try. If you haven’t had Caribbean food – now’s the time to try it!!
We’re from out of town and came specifically for the French onion soup, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Rich, comforting, and perfectly done.
We also ordered the creole shrimp with rice and vegetables, which was incredible. The rice reminded me of jollof rice and beans – so flavorful and cooked perfectly. My brother had the spicy creole shrimp pasta and said it was one of the best dishes he’s ever eaten.
The owner/chef was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and even treated us to pie on the house which was outstanding. Portions are generous (great leftovers the next day!). This is truly a hidden gem and highly recommended to anyone visiting or craving bold, authentic Caribbean flavors.

The food was amazing !! Mo piles the plate high and the flavors OMG! Immaculate!! I had the snapper , over rice and vegetables and it was truly the best thing I ate while I was here. My only regret is that we didnt find him until our last day! If you want authenticity and Flavor do yourself a favor and go to Mo’s!!
He let us sample the pies ( key lime/pumpkin)and they were great as well! My experience with key lime pie while I was here was not great( Kermits and Publix both went in the trash )because they were overly sweet and the lime flavor was weak. Mo’s had a more balanced flavor. I still needed more lime but I would take his pies over the others any day !

Recommended by many of the staffers at my resort and other Haitian and Cuban residents downtown Key West. The food was a great blend of traditional Haitian Cuisine and some American/Italian influenced dishes! The Seafood Ragu was mind blowing. shrimp Creole had me scrapping my plate. Authentic Haitian Prestige beer. Finished off with Pumkin and Key Lime pie.

Amazing!!! Got into town late after driving all day from Tallahassee and we needed something good. MO’s was walking distance so we gave it a try. Some of the best ribs and chicken we’ve ever had. Rice and vegetables on the side rounded out this excellent meal. Friendly service and warm atmosphere make this a must stop for excellent food. Frosted beer glasses were an excellent and unexpected touch.

I love Ox Tail with a kick! If you are in town (Key West) and you love some Caribbean soul food, MO’s is the place to visit. Pictures do not do justice to the taste, Delice (owner) puts his souls and love in every dish he makes fresh for every customer. So, remember to visit, you won’t regret it. **UPDATE** We came back a second time and decided to try the spicy shrimp and fried pork. Delicious . We are returning to Key West next week on a cruise and will definitely visit again.

Absolute must visit. Met the owner who was extremely polite. My family is Haitian and to know that there is a Haitian restaurant here had us leaping for Joy. We are foodies and definite skeptics when it comes to food that we grew up eating.
MO’s restaurant did not disappoint. My kids immediately began to dance as they ate and were more excited to eat the food of our culture.
We had the fried pork meal and chicken meal. They were a large portion making it worth it. The flavors of the food was amazing as well.
Anyone looking for Haitian food ensure to stop here. It is worth it.
