Great food. I usually get the Beef or chicken because it’s really good. The meals have rice or noodles, steamed veggies, and of course what you ordered. The line can get pretty long at times but really good Teriyaki.

BEWARE OF POOR FOOD HANDLING! I used to love this place but haven’t been for a while. Now I’ll never go back, gave me food poisoning! Got the chicken teriyaki which I thought tasted okay at first, then I got a bite that tasted gross like bad chicken. Later that night and the next day I felt terrible. I know it was this food cause its all I had eaten that day.

This place is changed so much!! The chicken looked shredded the serving was so small unlike before. I ordered rice with vegetables ..I got white rice. Sarku Japan is the best place to eat in Valley River Center. The teriyaki chicken is great, the chefs are very experienced, and the value and portion sizes are excellent. They’re also very careful with food safety on the open grill. Overall, this is a solid place to eat.
