My husband and I stood in the long line to purchase lunch. As it was our turn my husband asked for fresh noodles as the noodles looked old and withered. The employee in this picture began yelling at my husband because he asked for fresh noodles. My husband is a Military Veteran with PTSD, and this triggered him. I asked for a refund and immediately removed my husband. The employee continued to yell and scream obscene words until we left. I couldn’t believe we were being treated like this just requesting fresh noodles.

The chef was cooking the beef for an entire family before us, then gave us the tiniest portion of leftover after filling everyone else’s portion of beef to the brim. We mentioned this and he just laughed in our face.

Food was really good. Service was excellent. Go there every time we visit to the mall. Always received great food and great service.

I work In the area ( local courier) so I come here about twice a week… Usually order extra chicken with my meal. Recently not only have the serving containers gotten smaller but the extra chicken I only actually receive extra chicken about 50% of the time. Food is good but the dishonesty of charging $2.29 for extra chicken but not actually receiving it is a little dissapointing these days as times have gotten tighter.

Rice and veges are so so cold. Chicken is literally leftovers from the pan. Very very disappointed with the service, food, quantity and quality. I eat Saruku japan frequently. The veges did not have any broccoli which is their staple. And their hot sauce is simply water dumped with salt and red food coloring. The most upsetting experience ever!

Was first in line out of several people, asked for Teriyaki with extra chicken, got a sub-standard conservative chicken portion while the people behind me in line got increasingly large amounts of chicken heaped on, the 5th person got the entire remainder of all the chicken on the grill which was almost twice as much as I got and was falling out of the box. I shouldn’t have to babysit the chef to get a fair portion

It is not my first time trying Sarku Japan in Potomac Mills. I ordered a Teriyaki Steak and Shrimp. I asked for fried rice, (+$0.50) and it was not bad. I would definitely expect more season and flavour on the steak and shrimp. I would also expect for them to place more steak and shrimp than the whole container being filled with rice. There was a young Hispanic lady attending everyone, but she spoke and understood English. The rest of the employees are Hispanic, my people!! Fast and friendly service. They were running low on plastic utensils; I grabbed the last one!! Overall, I was expecting a lot more from them this time.

I hesitate to even call it sushi. Sadly I ordered from uber eats and didn’t see how clearly horrible this place was. The most disgusting food. Avocado was brown. Couldn’t finish my meal. It had me gagging.

I like the food at Sarku Japan, but few days ago at this location, the cashier refused to take my order. I asked for only vegetables and chicken without sauce, but she declined to accept it. It was rude and unfriendly.

The service was slow for a precooked meal…. The guy who warm was chatting behind. The workers are unpleasant and they didn’t want to give my daughter a free glass of tap water while I spent 32$ in food (she asked for the water after I paid with a foreign card). They don’t give you the full order at the order line. I had to back on the line to get the sushi and the drink.
