First time trying subs and we were definitely impressed!! Pete was so friendly and welcoming, sandwiches were delicious!!! Their bread is probably the best we’ve had for subs!! The chips and soda were a plus for the price! We will definitely be back for more!!

Went to this sub shop recently. Never again. Took my food home to eat. I ordered a basic sub, ham and Swiss, lettuce, tomato and oil and vinegar. The ham was off, tasted terrible and the roll was stale. While at the shop, the owner/manager, a dude with white hair, was so rude to me. I’m a respectful adult and this guy was just plain nasty for no reason. So the food sucked and the owner was a jerk. Save your money for a place where you’ll be treated better and get better sandwiches

I picked up sandwiches to go from Sarge’s and it’s a local go-to joint for good ol’ subs. The place looks like the same way that it did in the 90’s, but the subs were solid. I had the Sarge (aka Italian), meatball parm, and turkey. The hoagies were nice and soft and the ratio was just right between meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato. I def recommend subs to go if you are in the area. On a side note, I saw other one-star reviews 1) about their parking lot 2) their buffalo wings. I would say this about those two bad reviews – 1) there is plenty of street parking 2) why the hell would you get buffalo wings at a sandwich joint? Just my two cents.

We were told 40-45 minutes. I called after 50 minutes and was told (with an attitude) that the wings take time, traffic, it will get there. 20 minutes later my wife called (now over an hour), he literally yelled at her that “I told your husband at least 45 minutes, wings take time rush hour traffic, etc”. The food finally came. My steak sandwich was cold, had 3 slices of thin steak ($14.50), my wife’s turkey melt was just ok, the wings were terrible. $50 for terrible food, and terrible service.

We ordered the USO Club and The Sarge, both in large.
This was lunch and dinner for both of us.
Fresh, flavorful plenty of meats, ingredients and the large should be renamed to huge.
Everyone was really friendly and accommodating when we picked up our order.
I highly recommend Sarge’s Subs.
If the rest of the hero’s are as good as the ones we ordered, you’re in for a treat!

Ordered a dozen wings tonight. Got ten wings and two pieces of something that may have belonged to a chicken. Didn’t dare to try it. Kind of disappointed with my meal. I liked their wings the most in the neighborhood. Don’t think I’m gonna order again

Sarge’s has the best tasting subs. Their bread is superior, their seasoning is perfect, and they are reliable and consistent with their portions and their high quality ingredients. My son used to call me from the bus 4 hours before coming from college and ask me to get two “giants.” Their chili is amazing also. They take pride in their business and their ingredients, which is a nice thing to know when you are ordering in or eating out.
