Sardinia is a refined celebration of authentic Sardinian cuisine, where tradition and the sea take center stage. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, and every dish reflects a deep respect for the island’s culinary heritage.
Chef Dino Carta masterfully highlights house-made bottarga, generously shaved over signature dishes like octopus carpaccio and linguine alle vongole, delivering bold yet beautifully balanced flavors.
Attentive service and a welcoming, elegant atmosphere complete a truly memorable dining experience. A must-visit for lovers of genuine Sardinian food. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Homeade pastas from scratch. Authentic Sardinian Italian food was on point and delicious.
A wide variet of meats – fush- and pastas. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
They served pane carasau to the table – a sardinian crispy wafer type bread. So glad we finally tried this place. I highly recommend Sardinia Restaurant.

We live very close to the restaurant and we’re celebrating my birthday. We were a table of three. After we sat down it was like we didn’t exist. Our server was probably the most arrogant person I’ve encountered in quite some time. We asked if we could order appetizers and he said no. He said we have a very small kitchen and you have to order everything at one time. We watch other people around us that were seated after we arrived get some bread and butter or whatever. My wife was talking about having lasagna for a week before a week got there. Her lasagna came out and all of the Cheese look like it had been reheated and it was brown and burnt it was actually black. I was very disappointed.

We had the veal ravioli and asparagus gnocchi. Both were simply…not good. the ravioli came out in a watered down gravy-like sauce and the asparagus gnocchi was mushy and overwhelmingly asparagus flavored. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. The bread was stale, but free at least!

Disclaimer: i did not have fish or seafood. Perhaps that’s their specialty although in articles they have touted their veal chop.
I ordered a special appetizer; a whole tomato stuffed with eggplant. Pathetic. Truly. Then my veal chop arrived. I’ll let my photo speak for itself. The only thing that was good was the super tuscany. I certainly will never return

Fantastic! Chef makes his own Bottarga. Carpaccio di pulpo, linguine with clams and bottarga, vitello Al forno all excellent with a Sardinian wine pairing… Can’t wait to go back and try the fregola pescatore.

Worst Italian restaurant in my experience. I am a big connoisseur of Italian food and the atmosphere of this place gave me hope that I will get an unforgettable experience and enjoy the taste. But everything was different. Minestrone was just a soup made from various cabbages, similar to the soup from the Soviet canteen, but over-salted! I couldn’t eat it all. The most important thing is the pasta. They said it was homemade . But this terrible pasta is not made from durum wheat! Thin, white, made from ordinary white flour, similar to cheap pasta from dollar stores or instant Chinese pasta. Pasta with beans and mint. The beans were delicious, but there was no mint at all. The second pasta with sausages was too salty, as if a spoonful of salt had been poured into it, it was impossible to eat. The beer here is terrible, with corn syrup added! Junk food, huge food savings, big empty show for big money. If you have been to Italy, or at least to a real Italian restaurant, then you will be deeply disappointed. The staff is also not friendly. But the atmosphere is pleasant. If you want to leave hungry and with the feeling that you have been deceived and robbed, then you are here. One of our most favorite meals in Sarasota and Siesta Key. We stumbled on this restaurant after trying to go to another restaurant. So happy we did! First, the homemade Carasau (super crispy flatbread) was delicious and our entre was even better. Paired with the wild mushroom appetizer the, Carasau is even more heavenly. The Linguine Ai Frutti Di Mare was one that challenges Boston’s Little Italy and Providence’s Federal Hill district for deliciousness. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the sauce was light, but perfectly salted and flavorful. Recommended!
