The place had a nice atmosphere, sat on patio. Service was fantastic, food was mediocre ok. I havd the Fettuccine Alfredo w shrimp not much flavor and my honey had the meat lasagna, bland. I only tried as it looked like it would be a good Italian place, there are many other choices, especially for price

Oh my goodness , I don’t know where to start because this is like the best Italian restaurant in San Diego. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out everyone is so friendly, polite and welcoming. It’s almost like eating at grandmas house!!! Grandpas in this case because the owner SAL is amazing. He has the perfect staff. All smiles, everyone is so attentive and patient. Now for the food… Oh my Gosh !! Literally finger licking good!! The salads, the pastas, the pizza, calamari, fried shrimp, the soup… the cheese bread !! Mmhmm me and my family ate all of that in one setting and I could not complain about one single thing !!! They should be in a food magazine or advertised on tv if they haven’t been already, that how awesome this place is. 10/10 from my party of 5!

We happened to find this restaurant because it was near the Garten. It turned out to be a great decision because their food is out of this world. We had chicken marsala veal parmesan chicken parmesan spaghetti primavera chicken piccata minestrone soup dinner salads that came with the dinners that were huge cheese garlic rolls out of this world. We will absolutely be back

First time trying this Italian restaurant. Loved the food we were recommended & ordered. Portions are good and definitely enough to share between 2 people. We ordered their meats pizza & a half and half pasta. Angel hair with shrimp and white wine sauce with the other half ziti and sausage with broccoli. I don’t usually eat sausage as I don’t like it BUT THIS sausage was thee best I’ve ever had. Very good and it didn’t give me heartburn or have an aftertaste. Got some spumoni for dessert to end the perfect meal right. Definitely coming back on our next trip to San Diego.

The antipasto portion size is very small. Got the Chicken Parmesan and Angel Hair Pasta Shrimp entrees. They were both excellent. Both pastas were cooked to a perfect al dente. What seem at first to be high prices, are fair given the portion sizes and amount of chicken and shrimp in the entrees. They even give a free fresh made mini cannoli for a birthday meal. They are one of the few restaurants that give a nice amount of dressing on a salad. If you are one of the few who like just a dab of dressing, simply ask for it on the side. Update: Got the Chicken Parmesan and Angel Hair Pasta Shrimp entrees. Both were perfectly made and delicious. The sesame garlic bread was very tasty. The prices have increased again, but the portions have remained the same. One of the highlights is that all of the pasta is perfectly cooked al dente, and the red sauce is thick and delicious. This happens not once in a while, but every time we eat here! Update: Got the Chicken Parmesan and Seafood Alfredo. Both were very tasty, however the Alfredo only contained shrimp. We were told there were ground clams in the sauce, but they were undetectable. Update: Got the Chicken Parmesan and Shrimp Scampi. Both were very tasty, however the scampi is not as good a value as the Angel Hair Pasta Shrimp entree. Update: Got the Chicken Parmesan and Angel Hair Pasta Shrimp entrees. Both were perfectly made and delicious. Update: Got the Chicken Parmesan and Angel Hair Pasta Shrimp entrees. Both were excellent. Update: Got the Chicken Parmesan and Salmon with white clam sauce entrees. Both were excellent. Update: Got the Chicken Parmesan and Angel Hair Pasta Shrimp entrees. Both were excellent. Update: Got a Salmon with white clam sauce entree and a Chicken Parmesan entree. Both were excellent.

I went there for a business lunch. It was loud in one room, so we went to a separate room and it was totally quiet and we were able to achieve all that we needed to do for the business meeting. The food was great and the service was really quick so it was exactly what we needed.

I ordered through uber eats. Wanted to do a hotel in room birthday dinner. Ended up vomiting everything I ate. Please make it right. Disgusting food, undercooked, old products. It was towards closing time and they just messed up. I feel sick on my stomach. I’ll keep contacting until someone makes it right.

I’ve been here many times and usually get the half and half pasta. This restaurant provides great value in that entrees come with soup/salad and bread. The take out staff has always been very attentive and they are clearly well trained. Good food, good service, and hopefully this place continues to thrive!

I had an excellent experience at Sardina in July! The calamari was the best I’ve ever had, the salads were fresh, and the cannolis were absolutely delicious. I ordered the lobster ravioli; it was good, though a bit on the fishy side. The atmosphere was wonderful, especially outside, though the echo under the building’s overhang can make it a bit noisy. Service was friendly, but we did have to ask a couple of times for a few forgotten items. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

The service and the atmosphere are very good. The waitresses are very pleasant and nice to interact with.
The food is so so.
Ordered the Salmon and the Pasta Ala Giovanna – the food came too quickly (which was already suspicious) and it was nothing special really. Wasn’t even able to finish the dish.
The waitress did offer to change it, but I didn’t want to.
The pizza was very good on the other hand 🙂 and the kids were happy .
