This little Italian restaurant was amazing!!! From the moment we walked in the staff was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious! The wine was delicious! The tiramisu soooo good. Light, fresh, not overwhelmingly sweet like most desserts. I can’t recommend this little gem enough. Do yourself a favor and go experience true Italian cuisine.

wonderful little gem in Gulf Gate with outstanding service, you can tell everyone there cares about the food, the quality, the service, really lovely. Ample portions and quality ingredients. In a sea of so many Italian restaurants – this one offers a wonderful value of really delicious food. While the pastas are not homemade, the sauces are and they knock it out of the park!

A hidden gem serving authentic Italian cuisine made in house. We thoroughly enjoyed lasagna and veal parmigiana. Crusty bread and ice cold prosecco rounded out our dinner. We brought home leftovers and were delighted by the friendly owner and serving staff. We’ll definitely return.

I wish I lived close by to this place! While down for business from Jersey I decided to give it a try. The pasta and tiramisu were the best I have ever had, and I LOVE Italian food!
The owners recently moved from Italy and everyone was incredibly friendly. The courage to move country and start a business shows in the passion they put into the food.

The food was very delicious, and Chef Vince made us feel truly welcome. He was pleasant and even offered to make Italian dishes that weren’t on the menu. The portions were perfect for the price. I’ve never had food like this before and was so happy we came across this place. We’ll definitely come back if we’re in the area. 10/10!

We wanted Italian food and Sara’s was great! It’s small, very intimate. There were only two gentlemen working, doing everything from bussing tables to cooking to serving! Everything is fresh and from scratch and so good. It was a fun atmosphere and a great evening.

The food is excellent, priced fairly, and the owner makes you feel special. We have a lot of Italian restaurants. This one stands above the pack! We loved the gnocchi, chicken parm, and can’t wait to try more.

This italian restaurant is a gem located in the heart of Gulf Gate, in south Sarasota. The chef, Francesco, from Italy, was a delight. It was great having a personal experience with the chef, as he attended to us and insured we were satisfied with our food choices. The food was fantastic. The place is a cute, quiet, quaint place with pleasant background music.
