What a cute and eclectic little downtown spot. I love the old time feel in an historic building. They had it decorated cute for Christmas and we just loved the architectural embellishments. The ladies room was done up in a Parisian motif. It’s a cozy, down home feeling you get when walking in the door. Service was friendly and we enjoyed our lunch! Their burger was fantastic and they even split it for us in the kitchen. Notice in the photos that I like my burgers plain, so we asked for everything on the side. I’m sure for you more adventurous burger lovers, it will be a much more beautiful presentation. The crabmeat soup was hearty. I would have liked a bit more seasoning but that didn’t keep me from enjoying every last bite – especially the cornbread croutons in the middle!

This is an amazing lunch spot. I had a fantastic Cobb salad with southwestern Ranch. Service was great and atmosphere is incredible. I love taking my mother here, because she says it feels like a classic tea house.

My husband and I went there for the first time, and we enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. Our waitress was also very friendly and that made it enjoyable too. We both really liked their rolls, especially the last batch that came fresh from the oven. We loved their appetizer. They were the “White Wings” and they had a very unique and delightful flavor to them. We would order them again and I believe this is the first restaurant we’ve ever been to who offered them. They came with ranch dressing and I would give their ranch dressing a five 5 , it was really good.. My husband had the short ribs and he really enjoyed those. He would give them a five 5 and said they were very flavorful and absolutely delicious. I believe he enjoyed every drop of them. I had the lobster ravioli and truly was not very crazy about it. I had a lobster ravioli in vodka sauce from a family-owned Italian restaurant before and it was absolutely delicious and I guess I’m looking for more of that flavor profile. I didn’t eat that much of what I ordered, and brought the rest home. In their defense, I’ve had an absolutely delicious one before and so these did not come close, and I’m not a monsoon lobster lover, more of a shrimp and crab lover, but somebody else might really like them.

We did very much enjoy the ambience of the restaurant and would go there again when traveling through there.

Such an amazing find for a bridesmaid’s lunch! Donna and her staff helped make the event perfection! They let us in an hour early to set up the tables. We used our own plates, napkins, etc and had no issues. The food, the service- everything was just wonderful. I highly recommend this darling venue!

I haven’t been here for a while but took a few friends to celebrate a birthday. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all exceptional. Our server was friendly and attentive and gave great descriptions when we were ordering. Our food came out fast and had generous portions and was very tasty. My chicken fried steak was tender and delicious- best around town. The historic atmosphere is nice for this hometown boy. I used to buy school clothes here as a kid! I’ll definitely be going back more often. This restaurant hits all the buttons! My only complaint is that it isn’t open for longer hours. This one’s a winner!

Food and drinks were delicious. We did order an appetizer but it came out after our food. Wish they had more side options. Bread wasn’t really warm either. Service was good.

I rated the food a 4, but only because it all seemed truly prepared in house from scratch. The flavors weren’t quite as fabulous as we hoped and expected – but totally not bad. When the server noticed we weren’t impressed, she did try to make it right.
We had the corn chowder, pork with cherries, Sarah’s salad, and a couple dessert options.
We do travel a lot and eat out frequently. Upon reflection, we think the food is just right for the local audience. The highly recommended dishes like chicken spaghetti are probably really great. If we have a chance to return, we would probably stick with that. Still recommend giving it a try!

Sarah’s is one of those small town places you love to see. Wonderful service from local employees and homey food cooked in house. I stopped in on my way through Gainesville and ordered a few things. Everything was good but nothing blew me away, plus the price was fair. If I ever go back through I might stop by.

Been coming here now every few months when I pass by in this direction for the last 3 or 4 years! Its a must stop being I like about 6 hours away from it!

I love this restaurant and the owner!
Love the inside decorations and their food and deserts!

Love their rolls with butter, Chicken spaghetti and meatloaf. I don’t remember what else I’ve had, as I tend to only get the chicken spaghetti and then a brownie Togo..

Highly recommend that you stop here!

We tried this place leaving Winstar on way to Fort Worth. It’s a quaint and cozy little place with the nicest staff. Hank weighted our table and was super friendly and knowledgeable. We visited during lunch and had the chicken spaghetti (delicious and filing), cheeseburger with all the fixings, homemade chips and hand-cut fries. The chips and queso came out warm and yummy. The rolls were hot and melted in your mouth. I will definitely add this place to our list of regular stops when traveling this direction.
