Then, the food! We ordered an appetizer hummus plate and to be honest I will be dreaming about that hummus. It was served with a side of warm pita and my husband and I were fighting for the last piece (we will each be ordering our own next time!) I got the grilled chicken salad with a side pita and it was large enough for 2 meals, minimum! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, delicious!!
My husband got the chicken/beef Shawarma plate, with the same compliments and also just LOVED the house dressing! We got a side of fries, and I don’t know what they put on them, but as full as we were, we couldn’t stop eating them!
Then, to top it all off, the chocolate cake for dessert was perfection, everything you would want in a chocolate cake. The clean restaurant, the most friendly and helpful staff, the delicious food, we know we just found our new favorite restaurant in Greensboro! Thank you Sarah’s!!
The fries were stale, soggy, and tasted old, like leftovers thrown back in the fryer. Absolute waste of money. Never again.
I hate leaving reviews like this but I can’t look myself in the mirror and go on with life if I don’t warn others.
Atmosphere is nice and people are nice food is 0/10 like I wish I didn’t experience that.
Just have 4 recommendations for the owners that you can take in mind and do in the future, I would love to see your restaurant exceed anyone’s expectations for you to have this unique restaurant that’s full of amazing details and the good space to be full at all the time.
First, I would love to see a special person who works as a waiter / waitress from the beginning to take the customer and let him/ her set to the table and handles the customer the menu and to be responsible for serving food with a good uniform and at the end gives him/her the check to pay.
Second I would love to see more unique Egyptian food. For example, stuffed vegetables with rice (mahshy), stuffed bread with meat (hawawshy). Every Mediterranean restaurant I go to has the same dishes, So cook and make new ones that make you special and what reflect the unique Egyptian cuisine.
Third, I would love to hear Egyptian or Arabic music, believe me it will add a different soul to the atmosphere.
Fourth, we tried the funnel pita it was not bad and not good, maybe you can replace it with another unique Egyptian dessert like rice pudding, creme caramel or churro in the Egyptian way (balah el sham) or another one.
(I hope my recommendations would help to complete the excellence experience of the restaurant and will make anyone want to come back to you)
I absolutely would love to come back to this beautiful restaurant.
We got beef and gyro on pita. We made it spicy and I’m telling you you must get it spicy. It tasted sooooo goood. It’s not super spicy but just gives you a bit of heat but it boosts up so many flavors in the meat. Both beef and gyro were good but gyro was definitely better.
The greek salad was a bomb. French fries was good (they actually recommended it). The sauce/dip was also good.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean. While you’re supposed to bus your own table they still come clean the table after customers leave.
We will definitely come back for more.
