I had the super breakfast plate which was ok. The pancakes were chewy, not fluffy. My wife had the French dip and she only ate about a third of it because the meat was so chewy. I thought she might be over reacting but she wasn’t wrong. I tried it and it was like nearly impossible to chew.
My son had a cheese burger and it wasn’t bad.
I suggest at least season the food

My son and I came here for breakfast this morning. I got my usual, a cheese omelette. My son got his usual, the salmon dinner, even though it was breakfast time. The dinner came with soup or salad. My son doesn’t do salad. They didn’t have soup. I asked if it was possible to give him a hot vegetable, like green beans or mixed vegetables instead. They brought him green beans then said they needed to charge us for it. I said that’s fine, then bring us the soup and charge us for the green beans. A cup of soup is $5. Green beans are $3.25. Soup still wasn’t made and we were still charged for the green beans. Why? You’re still ahead of the game financially. Your greed over $3.25 cost you a customer and earned you the review you deserve. Hope it was worth it

If you want a blast from the past this restaurant is for you. The decor and atmosphere are definitely a relic from days gone by. That being said I kind of liked the look of the inside since I am, as they say, nostalgic.
We ordered breakfast with my wife having a waffle along with bacon and an english muffin. The only real negative was the server, who was not very attentive and disappeared for a while. This made it hard to let him know that the bacon my wife ordered crisp had come up quite the opposite of that. When he did finally appear he took the bacon back to the kitchen, but the returned plate still did not have bacon that was any definition of crispy. My ham and cheese omelet and home fries, though, were very good.
There are many restaurants known for their breakfast and Dutch Valley is one of them. Unfortunately, we have found others such as Millie’s, Max’s Table, and even Der Dutchman, to be better and, as such, will probably not be back to this one.

Well, if your ever in the area of Dutch Valley Restaurant make sure you drop by and be hungry when you get here. The product for the $$$ is amazing. We just ate some of the biggest open face hot turkeys that we have ever have.
The pork chops were to die for. Make sure to remind them though that you want your mashed potatoe hot. Once we got them the second time they were amazing.
We would easily make our way back again.

First visit to Dutch Valley and it was pretty good. We ordered a Patty Melt with fries ($12.99), Country Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes and gravy ($14.75), Lemon Pepper Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and dressing ($16.99), and a Cuban Sandwich with fries ($13.49). Both the Country Fried Steak and Leominster pepper chicken came with dessert of rice pudding. The Patty Melt was thick and served on a beautiful Swirled toast. The fries were crisp and just right. The Country Fried Steak was served with two pieces of thinner but tasty steak. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. The Lemon Pepper Chicken was a half chicken and it was tasty. The dressing was a bit too mushy but tasted fine. Cuban sandwich was delicious.
We also had a cup of chili and a cup of cream of broccoli soup. The chili was tasty like Mom used to make. The cream of broccoli had a super light taste and could have used some Mrs. Dash.
Rice Pudding is generally not my favorite but this one was tasty and I’m glad I ordered it.
Our server was Donna and she did a good job.
The dining room is fairly large with tables booths and some seating at the counter. Dining is all indoors and the dining room was decorated for Christmas.
If you are in the area, this is a tasty place to stop.

Food is very under seasoned, which I think caters to their clientele. I had chicken ala king over a biscuit. The biscuit was tough to eat, chewy. For the price this place is fine, just not for me. Service was great, everyone we talked to was extremely friendly.

I had the absolute pleasure of having dinner here, it was absolutely delicious I ordered the chicken fried steak and a few other things. The food is absolutely amazing It tastes like real home cook food. Right down to the rice pudding, the staff was kind wonderful amazing. I felt home. If I could give more stars, I would. I felt like I went to Grandma’s. All the employees were happy and genuinely friendly. Singing coming from the kitchen. Save room, dinner comes with dessert- rice pudding or Jell-O. I highly recommend the rice pudding.

Kind of old, in need of a major remodel, some sort of debris hanging out of the ceiling tiles. Wait staff not that friendly. The food was delivered hot, but bland in taste and basically tossed onto the platter, and overpriced compared to the quality.
