Very sweet spot (pardon the pun lol) in Marietta Square.
Staff was fun, knowledgeable, and full of recommendations.
The only downfall was it felt like the AC was not working… It was hotter in the store than outside today.
We got 2 scoops of Cookies & Cream ice cream on a waffle cone and 2 scoops of Chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone.
Very refreshing and delicious, worth the detour this afternoon!

Sarah Jean’s is one of the best places to get your ice cream in Marietta, GA. Not only is the ice cream delicious and variety offered, but also the customer service is outstanding! The staff members are pleasant and professional! Joel, Scarlett, and Kennedy provided me and my family with top-notch customer service! They were kind, helpful, and attentive. I will certainly return to Sarah Jean’s for my ice cream enjoyment!

Wham! Bam! Thank ya’ Mam! If your in the area and are in need of the best ice cream east of the Mississippi. Then it’s time to land your plane at Sarah Jean’s. We you walk in, get ready to be hit by the biggest smiles in the area and the biggest selection of ice cream to boot. But this is where Miss Sarah Jean’s outshines the rest. When you’ve got staff like Andy and Elizabeth that not only know every flavor but know the town like the back of their hand. That’s service, just ask them what’s good.. And rest assured they got ya’ covered.

Entire shop is run down and in rough shape. Dirty portable A/C unit in the back, plastic box fans on the counter, sticky tables and a dirty floor make for a pretty rough experience. I don’t recommend getting a milkshake — by the time you get it, it’s just a runny melted mess. If they run out of whipped cream while making your shake, they won’t refill it.. they’ll just give you the last couple runny drops splattered on top. Don’t waste your money here – just walk around the corner to another Ice Cream shop.

Sarah Jeans should become your go-to local spot!! Doesn’t compare to the other flashy ice cream shops around. Bella and Genevive served me today and showed the absolute best customer service. Came here for a milkshake because it’s the only place on the Square that has things like Sundaes, shakes, and other treats. Will be coming back!

Update:
I have no clue what changed about this place. They long do any of our favorite flavors. The biggest problem for them now is if they can, they will close and lock up many hours before they’re listed hours. I’ve been trying to bring a friend here for months hypin them up, especially about my favorite flavor, ‘Yellow Cake Batter’. The kids that work there didn’t help with this by closing up early. This happened many times with us trying to get there early and earlier until we we’re able one day to stop in around lunch. What’s the point of having listed hours if you’re not going to abide by them?
Also ordered a simple scoop of Cookie Dough and a scoop of Brownie whatever, and they finished helping everybody else that was in line behind me with more complicated orders before I finally was able to get the rest of my order. There were 4 people behind the counter. (This made me feel very unwelcomed). Sad to say, after all this time, with me coming here and bringing new people that that’s going to stop. I’m sad to see something that has been on the Square for over 20 years change for the worst.
(The ice-cream was good, tho. But I’ll just get to the store if I want any of the flavors that they have left.)

I used to come here all the time when i lived here. They used to have soo many flavors and they had the best cake batter ice cream ive ever had. Visited yesterday for the first time in years, it was such a let down. They barely had any flavors on the board, and the ones that we did decide on were out. They got rid of the cake batter. The flavors we settled for weren’t very good. Probably wont be back.

What an amazing treat on a lovely day with my loving queen. We had a cup of peanut butter chocolate and the apple pie blondie sundae with hot caramel and what am amazing treat. The staff did an amazing job with the recommendations and will be back the next time we are in Marietta.
