Northeast MPLS- what a fantastic find, this is truly a small town bakery, small batch production. Their reputation is their best PR! We tripped upon it, while on a quest this weekend to support SMALL/LOCAL businesses in MPLS.
Definitely recommend the apple fritter, no canned apples there! The lemon bars, peanut butter donuts and glazed donuts all thumbs up. New to me was the Paczkis. They stole the show in my book.
As if the pastries weren’t enough to bring us back (and they definitely are) the price was amazing! 6 “donuts” less than $17… Light, fluffy, DELICIOUS, good thing we live 5 hrs away, I’d be there everyday!

There could be a little bit of music playing in the background, to create a little bit more of an atmosphere.
The day old donuts tasted great even when I ate them a day after I bought them. Yum.
Since they open at 5am, you’d better get there quick before they sell out if your favorite.
Skip the trip to Starbucks, because they sell coffee here too!

The main entrance is wheelchair accessible, and there are no steps or bumps inside.
There is a free parking lot right across the street, usually has a few open spaces.
The street also has parking spaces along both sides.

THIS IS NO RUN-OF-THE-MILL, REGULAR-SHMEGULAR BAKERY!!! This bakery has the BEST pies and donuts you’ve ever tasted in your whole entire life. I know what you’re thinking, “How good can pie really be? Is it really THAT much better than a gas station donut?” Well, I promise you that the baked goods at this establishment are truly exceptional. In fact, we moved almost an hour away and still drive back to use this bakery for special occasions. I only wish their hours of operation were better (after work on weekdays and longer on weekends!) Try the strawberry rhubarb pie or crunch donut holes, but you really can’t go wrong here.

Really enjoyed my experience with this bakery. I ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for a party. Ordering, scheduling, and pickup were all easy. The cupcakes were fantastic! Lemon is definitely my favorite so far. Will be coming back again soon!

I just stopped by here for the first time today and picked up their chocolate frosted cake donuts. Hannah at the register was very helpful and helped explain some of the history of the place to me. Apparently they’ve been around for 100 years and they got a new owner five years ago but the recipes haven’t changed very much since it was founded 100 years ago. The owner was also working today and was helping out at a register next to the one I was at. She was very efficient at getting people in and out of the place. I’m very satisfied with how the cake donut tasted and the friendly customer service that I received.

Review is only based on the pies I have not had any of their other products. Amazing pies and lots of variety. Had the Michigan Sour Cherry pie and it was delicious. Friendly service and affordable prices on the pies compared to most. Pies are almost all in the $15-$20 range which is very affordable. Soft and crunchy crust with good flavor. Try them out you won’t regret it!! I can’t wait to come back only wish I lived closer!!!

I haven’t been but someone recently got me a Boston cream donut form here and half to say it was the best Boston cream filled donut Ive had. The cream was perfection. Boston cream tends to be too watery and not custardy enough. This was great though. It was perfect thickness and it had strong vanilla flavor with the signature custard taste. The donut itself was solid and it had the right amount of chocolate frosting. Would recommend!!

I really like this place, their apple fritters are amazing! I have had a number baked goods from this place and they have all been wonderful. The doughnuts have been soft and not over baked and full of flavor. The staff are nice and helpful as well.

Called looking for lemon bars and they had some! when I walked in it gave me an old town bakery vibes not the best lighting no decorations, simple to the point. They sell donuts cookies and bars. I originally came for lemon bars I wanted to get one of everything after looking lol they have 7 different bars. The bars are small and I feel they could lower the price to a dollar per square they also have small Cookies that are .75 a piece but I got 6 even tho they are small and .75 a piece they are one of the best cookies around you can taste the love and Butter I got one pecan toffee crunch, one chocolate chip, two oatmeal raisins and two peanut butter. They were delicious my favorite was the almond toffee. @crumble cookie is trash compared to them. The lemon bars are sweet and tart but so tiny I wish both cookies and bars were bigger for the price. I wanted to try a donut but they were $3 over all great experience it’s a special treat thing so if you’re not worried about price and have a sweet tooth like me go check them out. I will be back to Check out the day olds
