The food is surprisingly good. The tonkotsu ramen was reasonably priced at $15.50 with a pretty large portion, and the seared chashu was huge and had a nicely seared taste. The soup was creamy without being too salty, which I liked a lot.
My wife got the vegan ramen and liked its flavor and creaminess, too.
The service was kind of strange: the lady had us sit wherever and was on her tablet, but she was nice enough. You might have to flag her down manually when you’re ready to order and pay.

We ordered three ramen bowls and some tempura, but the noodles were all stuck together, and the onion tempura still had onion skin in it, so we couldn’t even chew it and had to spit it out.

This place is the BEST RAMEN IN THE VALLEY!! If you have patience with the owners as in tradition it pays off, good atmosphere and good food, if you ever try the private karaoke so much fun with family !! The spicy pork ramen SPICY AND DELICIOUS! The ginger salad is fresh and delicious!!.. Itadakimasu!! Enjoy

They have a vegetarian menu (vegetarian items marked) which is amazing. Very huge, cozy, neighborhood vibe inside. I ordered the vegan& corn ramen, the veggies, mushroom and tofu were dropped in the hot broth uncooked and raw. That was unexpected. Some veggies cooked a bit in the hot broth but i really don’t like mushrooms, eggplant and tofu uncooked. Also ask to exclude seaweed and sea vegetables, it made the broth fishy smelling

I’ve been a customer of this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the food and the service. However, my recent visit was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
I ordered the pork teriyaki bowl and found a dead caterpillar in my food!! I was disgusted and immediately informed the owner. Her response was unacceptable she told me it was “okay” because it wouldn’t harm my stomach. After some back and forth, she eventually asked, “Well, what do you want to do about it?” in such a rude way!
While she did end up comping our food, the lack of concern and accountability was very upsetting!! This kind of response is not what I would expect from a restaurant (especially after finding a dead bug in my meal) They definitely need to be washing their vegetables better and this makes me question what other steps they could be skipping out on. I will definitely not be returning!

I have been coming here for years now. I absolutely love the food and Meiling the owner is incredible. When I first came here some years ago, I tried the salt and pepper calamari, and it was so light and so crispy and so different than anything I’ve ever tried. I knew I was gonna love the food at that moment. Then I got the soup, the Ramen is just fantastic. There’s some great combinations already put together, as well as as a make your own section which I’ve gotten quite creative with now. This is a hidden gem in Palm Desert, and the prices are so affordable for the generous portions of delicious food.

OMG! We had an EPIC evening at Sapporo last night. It was my first time and the food was a revelation! The spicy pork belly is divine. We were able to enjoy the karaoke machine as well. Thank you, Meiling, for your wonderful hospitality. PS – I was raving about it at work and one of my staff said she loves this place. I can see why! No doubt I will be returning very soon.

They opened during Christmas, which was awesome. We visited this area and glad we were able to order some good food rather than eating fast food. The delivery took over two hours (ordered at ~6 pm, received our items at ~8:30 pm). One thing I was not sure was the portion of our orders. As mentioned earlier, we waited for our foods for more than two hours, and we were so hungry. We ordered quite a few of items; the portion was tiny for each item… Foods were great though, should still give you guys 4/5.
