I almost hate to post this because it such a special place. You will not get sushi like this anywhere else. Their specials are unique & exquisite. The seared salmon belly melts as soon as it hits your tongue. Aside from the excellent quality & freshness, the owners & staff make you feel welcome & right at home. For the past 20 years they have never disappointed. Sapporo is a standout.

Had the pleasure of trying a new roll last night at Sapporo East — the Numbuh 5. Spicy toro and cucumber inside, topped with sweet scallop, crunchy chili garlic, tobiko, and spicy mayo. Rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced with just the right heat and crunch.

We were excited to try this place and did an online order. It took a tad longer than expected to arrive but was amazing when it arrived. We spoke with management about the wait time and they informed us they are improving their system online to match demand perfectly. We loved the sushi but I equally appreciated management taking ownership of the delay and action when a problem was identified. The food combined with this management team I project they will be around a long time.

This place is amazing!! I’ve been here several times and I always enjoy the food. The customer service is very good and quick. The sushi is good quality and the prices are very reasonable.The fried ice cream was decadent and rich and the tempura added a nice texture and flavor to the ice cream. It was the first time I’ve ever had fried ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

I randomly wandered in here for the first time today. I was so pleasantly surprised by how clean and adorable the place is, how sweet and professional the service was, and how yummy my meal was! I don’t always order tea when I’m out and usually when I do it’s just *okay* but the tea they served me here was so delicious, the best tea I’ve had at any of the Japanese/sushi places locally.
*Update* I’ve been back here 3 times since my original review and I stand by my original words! The freshness of ingredients, skillful execution of each dish, and ambiance of the place are top tier!
