Fantastic lunch — a delightful surprise for Detroit Lakes!
It was pricier than other local spots, but absolutely worth the splurge. The portions were huge and everything was fresh and flavorful.

The place was very cute. Clean and not very full. The staff was extremely friendly and so attentive to service. Ample space for handicap accessibility throughout the establishment. Parking was no problem. The food was extremely mediocre. The advertise sushi but I do not recommend it. The fried rice was burnt and tasted like it as well. The yumyum sauce was horrible it was almost greasy like…all in all, we won’t be visiting again because of prices. Way too costly for the quality of the food.

This was our first time here and We were greeted with smiles and hello’s. The restaurant itself feels welcoming and cozy. It was clean and well kept. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our waitress was awesome!!
The menu has a lot to choose from and the prices seem on point. They weren’t too bad at all. We started out with some sushi and a bowl of chicken noodle soup for appetizers. (Perfect after a long day on the ice, fishing). I then ordered a brisket burger which was huge and tasted amazing. My gf got a bowl of Ramen which she said was excellent.
We will definitely be back here and I highly recommend this place to everyone! Like I said the menu has a lot of choices from steak, to sushi, to hibachi so there is something for everyone!

First time: Food was actually insane, staff was elite, vibes were immaculate. Got two sushi rolls for under $20?? Plus dessert (ice cream mochi) and it ATE.
Second time: Still gas. Everything was amazing and our waitress was so nice and helpful, like genuinely slayed.
Third time: I fear I love this place. I’m addicted.
Fourth time: At this point you should already know. Came here for my birthday and they gave me free cheesecake. I will be loyal forever.

We went here this evening for Valentines Day and the food was AMAZING! Literally the sushi was delicious and the Hibachi chicken was outstanding chicken was so tender and flavorful, the vegetables were perfect still had a light crunch…. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.
My other half had broasted chicken dinner with real mashed potatoes he said it was delicious
Oh and highly recommend the dill pickle cheese curds

Ordered the hibachi with chicken and steak. Noodles were unseasoned/bland. Yum-yum sauce cost extra and was NO WHERE as good as the original. Almost was a shame to even call it their own version.

I’ve eaten here multiple times and I just wanted to share some of the stuff we got with photos to show what you get, my my sister and dad all got bento boxes, A (panko/ breaded shrimp), B ( chicken and mac n cheese), and D (hibachi shrimp), all so delicious. Just a warning if you do order these, it’s a LOT of food!! Good service and clean also!

The sign says sushi so almost I almost drove by. Thank goodness I noticed Broasted Chicken also! I’ve never been to a place that serves so many different menu items, I was able to get a 4 piece Broasted chicken with fried rice and hibachi vegetables as sides! My wife had the Pollock and mashed potatoes. Both were delicious and once seated the service was great. If you’re in Detroit Lakes I highly recommend this place. Be hungry

Been there a couple of times hoping to get a different sushi chef. Staff is very friendly and a tentative that is not the issue I have. The issue I have is the sushi rolls themselves, they do not have enough rice vinegar & sugar in their preparation of their sushi rice, their rice is just plain blah. When you get something such as a sapphire role, rainbow roll or whatever it may have a lot of other sauces or fish or whatever on the actual role but, the rice itself needs to be seasoned! I make sushi rolls with fish (when I can get sushi grade fish) at home all the time. I have made my own dragon rolls caterpillar roll California roll you name it. You need to season the rice! And put some background noise on, it’s to dead silent in there. Again staff was great, just not the Sushi, Sashimi, nigiri!

This place hit the spot. I love that they have a wide variety of food on their menu so it’s the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy. I recommend the sushi. Every time. They have a good sushi menu for the adventurous and for the newbie. Their burgers were also really good. I’d never tried a ramen bowl before, but ordered the chicken. I’d definitely order it again, it was delicious and so filling. If you like sake, order a pitcher. They had several flavors and they’re just so stinking cute. We’ll definitely be making this a normal stop for Detroit Lakes trips!
