This restaurant was close to our airbnb so we went for dinner the first night. It ended up being our go-to dinner place for our entire 3-day stay in Rome.
I certainly did not experience what other non-Italian speaker had. The waiter and the owner didn’t speak much English but were being so helpful when it comes to food and drink selection.
The menu also has English descriptions which is very easy to understand. It’s a local seafood place so things are not hard to figure out.
Everyday they lay the available seafood in the display window right next to the entrance. Across 3 dinners we’ve tried pretty much everything (oysters, grilled shrimp, grilled prawns, baked branzino, grilled turbot, and lobster pasta). Everything is cooked perfectly and we love the flavor.
Their pasta also comes with big portion. Homemade tiramisu paired with limoncello are good for desserts.
The prices are reasonable and much cheaper compared to the restaurants near touristy sites. Love the restaurant!

We were really pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Overall I would say it was a nice experience, not a touristy restaurant at all and is quite central. The fish is very fresh and delicious!

Amazing food, amazing staff! We went on Christmas Eve, which they had a fixed sea food menu. One of our friends does not eat much of sea food, and they were so nice to replace his food with meat and bring him steak as his second course. We did not expect this much kindness, especially on Christmas Eve and a busy time like that. Totally recommend this place. The food portion was huge and much more than we could finish.

According to the comments, poor service should be downgraded to avoid the impact of others
If you are a travel enthusiast but cannot speak fluent Italian, stay away from this restaurant. From the chef to the waiters, they show a strong hostility and inexplicable resentment toward anyone who does not speak Italian. They pretend not to understand your language, and the way they behave gives off a rotten and unpleasant feeling—you know what I mean.
As for the food: even their so-called specialty, pasta, had to be redone because the first plate they served was half-cooked in the middle. At the entrance, there is a seafood display, but when my wife ordered a grilled fish, what arrived was a simply boiled fish, with skin and scales still on, without any sauce, served with a few leaves of salad and some hard potato chunks—for 20 euros.
We ate quickly and left as soon as possible. During the whole experience, the waiters remained cold, with poker faces, laughing and chatting only among themselves, while ignoring the customers. It makes you wonder: why should anyone spend their money here, supporting such narrow-minded people, clinging desperately to the past, living off their ancestors’ reputation, and failing so miserably at genuine hospitality?
And then, to top it all off, just look at the owner’s response to guests’ reviews. Between the lines, it reveals his true face: bitter, petty, narrow-minded, and small-hearted.

The restaurant was close to our hotel and decided to stop in for some seafood for lunch.
The seafood is very fresh and I would know. I’m someone with a very very weak stomach, and anything that has a hint of expiration, I will be feeling it.
The raw shrimps are super sweet, the crab pasta was made perfectly, and the grilled langostinos were divine.
No attitude, no fuss, just good food and great service! Looking forward to stopping by for our next trip to Rome.

Very stylish “Sardinian” restaurant. Nice friendly waiters, helpful with the menu. Fresh fish on display under cover. The frito misto was fantastic, a meal in itself. Really good sorbet limonene to finish.

First meal touchdown in Rome. Not sure if it based on how late I ordered it (before closing) but the pasta was too Al dente. To the point you bite into it and you still get that hard dough texture. The octopus salad was really good. I would give this place a chance at an earlier time.

Extremely close to hotel Románico Palace hotel, Rome, where my husband and I were staying. The pasta is made in house and was outstanding! Owner is Sardinian and is very passionate about his food. The wine selection is diverse and plentiful. The starters and menu are mostly sea not land, so if you’re looking for meat then perhaps this is not your selection. They have incredible seafood for the sea lovers. There is fresh fish and seafood displayed in a covered ice case when you walk in, so you know your getting truly Fresh fish! For my starter, I selected 3 oysters and they were phenomenal, my husband chose the octopus salad which he devoured rapidly. My first course, ravioli with ricotta and spinach, was perfection. My husband‘s first course was linguine with crab and he said it was delicious, the only negative was that the portion was quite large; the crab is shelled. For the second course, my husband and I both chose Seabass with potatoes, this was the freshest and most flavorful fish that we have had since coming to Rome 3 days ago. Outstanding service and very clean and local restaurant. For those of you who need to know the toilette area is very clean for both women and men. The staff speaks little to no English, however it was easy to order and they were very helpful and understanding. Portions are large so if your a small portion eater you may not be able to eat 3 courses here. Definitely a must try if you’re in Rome! Incredible price for the quality of food you get here, definitely affordable. Including an excellent bottle of wine, 2 complete three-course meals, 1 espresso, and no dessert (only opted not to try because we were satisfied with our meal) the price person was only €50 euro per person. Extremely responsible pricing for 5 star quality food.

One of the best places in the heart of Rome where to enjoy a proper launch or dinner, fresh fish at anytime. Just perfect!

We had a terrible experience at this place. We were going back to our apartment craving some delicious tiramisu and other desserts. We checked the menu and it had our desired desserts. When the waiter came to take our order and saw us asking about their desserts, he refused to take our order, specifically said the words “no, no, no… mange…”. He did not elaborate, showed us the door and left us seated and went.
