There’s always a delicious meal to be had at Sapori. The service, food quality and overall experience always brings us back. You cannot go wrong with any dishes. The stuffed grouper is always amazing, I just had the Pollo Martini and it was delicious as well as the bolognese and chicken scarp. Blue point oysters were fresh and the beef carpaccio was quickly dispatched.
Cosmo and Gin and Tonic were perfectly made. Our waiter, Zacharia, was wonderful. Be sure to stop by this gem if your in Westchester!

You wouldn’t expect this place to be this good when you drive by but just wow.

The pollo martini gets my highest compliment ever- the instant reorder. I’ve done this 3 times in my life where my wife and I have liked something so much, we get another on the spot.

Gnocchi were very good and salad was simple but very good. Zach and Jimmy were attentive and made you feel like regulars immediately. Will become a regular now that we live in the area but this place is worth a drive for. Enjoy.

Once again , this place is amazing .. the service , drinks and food is top of the line .
Kenny the owner always remembers us , although we’ve been here three times in two years. The rest of his staff what can happen I’ve noticed have had the longevity here… Jimmy has the crew, Toni, Zach, and Kehvan, who was our waiter for all attentive to our needs. It’s very rare that you have a place where not only are the people great but the food is incredible and the overall environment positive. Bring your friends… Have drinks… And enjoy yourselves… Because you won’t regret it.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my parents and aunt while we were in town for my grandmother’s memorial. I don’t usually write reviews, but my parents had hyped this place up so much that I had to say something because it really did live up to it. We met Kenny, the owner, who was super warm and welcoming, and our server Kevin, along with Jimmy, Zach, and the rest of the staff, were all incredibly kind and attentive. What stood out most was that they treated everyone there just as nicely, not only us. The food was honestly amazing, flavorful, comforting, and just really well done. It was such a positive experience overall, especially on a day that was already emotional, and I completely understand why people love this place.

Absolutely Unbelievable!
Sapori in White Plains blew me away.
The food was out of this world !! The baked clams and Caesar salad were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The garlic bread was homemade, fresh, and incredibly delicious. Every bite was perfection. Can’t wait to come back!

First of all, let me just say that this is NOT a five-star experience. It’s probably somewhere around 4.2, but the service was so exceptional that I had to lean toward five stars. I think part of the problem was that my expectations were a little too high, and within the first five minutes, being served cold bread with cold butter was not what I expected. Every time I go to a high-end Italian restaurant, I look forward to hot bread with a crispy crust and room-temperature butter or good-quality olive oil with a cracked pepper mill, so I was surprised to not receive that here.

The grilled octopus appetizer was probably a four-star dish, and the portion wasn’t even close to the price point. But again, the level of service allowed me to overlook that. In addition, one pet peeve I have is the nickel-and-diming, like charging $3.50 for a Diet Coke filled with ice, needing a refill within two minutes because the glass was mostly ice, and then being charged for each soda. When the waiter sees that the soda is empty with the first sip, within the first 30 seconds, they shouldn’t have to ask if you want another. They should just bring it to you, knowing there was barely anything in the glass to begin with. I was literally embarrassed for the waiter because I knew it wasn’t his fault—it was the bartender packing the glass with ice, thinking customers wouldn’t notice they weren’t actually getting any real product. There’s really no other way to put it. I never mind paying for great food, but seven dollars for what essentially amounts to half a can of Diet Coke is obnoxious.

I asked for the Chilean sea bass without any salt, but my request was ignored, and the dish came out salty, which was another issue. However, the waiter was absolutely spot on, which helped absorb that disappointment. All in all, while I’m giving this a five-star rating due to the outstanding service, I would never go back. It’s just too expensive for what you get. I can get the same level of food by driving two miles down Central Avenue. But let me reiterate that the service is exactly what you would expect in an old-world, high-end Italian restaurant, so be prepared to pay for the labor cost, not the food.

P.S. Love the ability to pay with the QR code right at the table!

Absolutely amazing service and food! I did not know such a gem existed in White Plains. The food is truly impeccable. The dessert is wonderful as well. We tried the other Italian restaurant on the same street and it did not even compare to Sapori. Don’t waste your time on anything else and make sure to eat here! Shoutout to Zakaria, his service is truly amazing!! We will be back for more.

I don’t think there’s better service than table side prepared ceasar salad, branzino & zabaglione.

We have been coming to Sapori for a few years now during HV Restaurant week with a group of 12+ ladies…the service is outstanding, the food is delicious and the staff couldn’t be more professional and pleasant. They are always there to make sure our luncheon is a wonderful experience…and it always is. Special thanks to Zacharia for his special attention to our group. Thank you and we will be back again!
