Our waitress, Felicity, did an amazing job. She checked on us often, made sure our drinks stayed full, and kept everything moving smoothly without us ever having to ask. The service really stood out and made the meal feel relaxed and enjoyable.
If you’re craving delicious Mexican food with attentive service, Santos is absolutely worth a visit.
Roomy seating and interior was clean with nice theme.
Food:
Nachos was well laid out and tasted great. Definitely worth the money in taste and texture. Great presentation of the dish.
Tacos supreme with bean/rice
I was not impressed, better tacos at TB. Nothing supreme about it and rice was still hard. Would not recommend that dish.
Still plenty of food to choose from but tacos were disappointing in flavor and toppings.
Overall I still had a good experience and if I lived in area, I would stop in for a beer and nachos once in awhile.
We went for lunch it was around 1pm. The restaurant was so dark we could barely read the menu. The majority of lunch items came in burrito form. Fajitas- in a burrito.. with the sides.. in the burrito. What is that? Is that a thing people do or like? I ordered the Burrito Loco with chili sauce and it was LOCO. Like I said, they put the sides in the burrito which is fine for some items but the chicken seemed parboiled but wasn’t grilled or anything after that so I guess you’d call it just boiled. So the chicken was kind of wet. Then the lettuce in the burrito added to the wet… making it very “MOIST” . The chili sauce was thick, salty and just not good. I scrapped it off in an attempt to salvage the burrito. They also finished the burrito off in the oven so the chili sauce kind of browned/crusted a little on top of the burrito. It was a very weird situation. The wife ordered a burrito also. I don’t remember which one but it was chicken and the same kind of deal.
However, the chips and salsa were delicious.
So, if you are into boild chicken and the entire meal being Burrito-tized check this place out.
They have a decent size bar. Maybe this place is more fitting to go have drinks and appetizers not meals?
Food was the least impressive thing about this place. However, i thought it appropriately priced for the quality and location. They were not proud prices.
Refried beans had 10x too much salt. Tasted like pure salt.
The guacamole that it came with was also extremely salty.
I do not recommend this restaurant
The service was mediocre at best. Multiple servers coming at irregular intervals to ask if we needed anything but were unprepared to take meal order or help with any needs, such as water refill.
Which was surprising considering they only had 5 tables seated at 6:30pm on a Saturday.
The food came out soggy and flavorless. The only food that wasn’t absolutely repulsive was the quesadilla… but it’s pretty hard to mess that up.
Even the chips and queso were bland and sad. If you like to go out to a restaurant and receive a bowl of white velveta and tostitos, look no further.
Honestly people, don’t let places like this take your money. We deserve better than this in our city.
