Totaling about $26.00 ordered: 2 Beef Milanesa Tortas & 2 Bean and cheese with Bacon with a Cocacola on the side. So sad, my husband was always raving about this restaurant and finally we went to the location of Blanco Rd and was super disappointed. Not sure what was worse, the missing beef & beans, no crema or mayo in the sandwiches, no cheese in the tacos, or the beans tasting a week old. The salsa didnt even salvage this.

My wife and I use to go there years back because she used to worked down the street from there. We stopped for lunch after visiting the groto a couple of blocks from there. Same waitresses, same great food and same great service. Talk about consistency. Five stars All the way across. Keep up the great work.

The food this last time wasn’t eatable. My potato and egg taco was crunchy and I had to spit it out. Not suppose to be crunchy.
My papa’s a la mexicana was good but the tortilla was questionable as it felt like it was used or old.
Not sure. My dads refried beans tasted like they were from a can very salty and weird taste. We both stopped eating paid and left.

I visited this location during lunch time period I have to say it was very nice to walk into a very comfortable place that was neither not too hot and not too cold. They had specials for the day, right as you walk in and clear writing on a blackboard and able to be viewed easily. I ordered the enchiladas plate which was amazing! I wish to go back and order more off the menu here soon.

Great place to eat and a regular place I go often to. The staff is nice and service is great. The food is made fresh and can take time but it’s worth it. There is a drive-thru and you can call and place an order for pick up. They’re open everyday and worth a try.

So I think the cook here needs to go to Tommy’s on wurzbach and eat the enchilada & fajita plate to understand what its supposed to be.. I managed to eat the enchiladas , but seriously heb melting block cheese rolled in a plain corn tortilla would be better.. the fajitas where like grilled chanclas & about as tough. So much grease dude learn how to cook
