For the price point of the birria tacos it’s good. For $6 on Tuesdays you’ll get a fair amount of tacos with a station to add on condiments as you see fit. The meat is well seasoned and the taco shells hold everything together. The consume is ok, it gets the job done but I wish it was more flavorful. Overall this is a good deal to try birria if you’ve never had it before.

First the good.
Their fajitas come with a lot of meat.
Usually when you get fajitas at a restaurant, it’s mostly peppers and onions.
Now the not so good.
I know that we are living in the post covid era where employees are hard to come by. So there is some excuse for the poor service.
This was our first, and last visit to Santos.
The service was poor. It was no way you should be getting any kind of a tip poor.
Several tables got their menus, drinks, and food before us.
I ordered the special for the night, the $9.99 fajitas. My wife got enchiladas.
We were with a couple of friends, and they got their food first. Then my wife got her enchiladas. I waited for my food untill way after my friends were done eating.
Have a look at the pictures. Their food was gone by the time I got mine. All while other tables were being served their food.
My wife didn’t eat the enchiladas. She didn’t like them.
If I hadn’t been there with friends, I would have just gotten up and left. That’s how long my food took.
When we got the ticket, my special was full price, and there was an automatic gratuity of $7.80 on the ticket. That’s a 20% tip. A 20% gratuity is what I would give for excellent service. In this case, I’d have left 2 bucks just out of kindness.
I had to ask the waitress why my special was full price. She originally said she was giving me a discount of 10% because my friends finished their food before I even got mine.
When she brought the ticket back, my food was free. Which I didn’t ask for, but I seriously should have walked out way before it came. It actually kinda made up for my wife, who didn’t really eat at all.
The receipt says 10 guests. There was me, my wife, and my nephew on the ticket.
My friend and his wife were on a separate ticket. 10 guests huh?
Again, post covid. Lack of employees. I counted 4 waitresses. I get it. But this was terrible.
Definitely not going back there again.

Excellent and quick service, but not at the cost of quality and presentation. The place doesn’t look like much, but the food certainly does, and was delicious to boot. Kids menu seemed disappointing at first glance, but we were pleasantly surprised that they didn’t skimp on the presentation and volume of food for even the kids’ dishes. Will definitely visit again!

Very nice staff members and service. There are complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the jalepeno burger and tacos. The tacos were delicious, but the burger was huge! So be careful on portion sizes for burgers and burritos. It might be better to share if a small to medium eater. And is on the pricer end of things for tacos.

This was a great little place with a full salsa bar. I would recommend it. However, I probably would not recommend getting chips and salsa since there is already a salsa bar where you can grab your own salsa.

Smaller portions, but this is made up for by a well seasoned entree and side. Beans are very good. Salsa bar had a variety of pico and salsas. This is my first visit, but not my last. The pescado/fish taco , though a little small was amazing! I would order more than one taco as a result. Get two at least.
