Christmas Day meal… wow so much food with amazing taste and flavors… this is a must check out place.. the textures and tastes were well balanced out which made your tongue dance… definitely a must stop at if you are in the area.. prices were reasonable considering the large amount of food you get.. I am stuffed… couldn’t finish it all.. the waiter was Ottan S was best and very knowledgeable about the menu.. he made great suggestions…. Best Christmas meal I have ever had… not traditional but made me smile with pure joy..

We ate lunch and breakfast at this restaurant. The lunch was excellent with great views of the mountains and driving range. The Breakfast Buffet was the best brunch I have ever had. The options were endless and there was something for everyone.

Worst experience in Costa Rica thus far. My colleagues had the ceviche and it tasted better poolside AND the portion size was twice as big. My other colleague had the octopus and it was soggy. I had the “fresh” fish and it was bad- super fishy for a light fish with no flavor and was cooked horribly. Even the cocktails left a lot to be desired. My colleague ordered a different cocktails because his tasted like saltwater and they never returned with one.
The poolside food and drinks were great and even the servers were better! Hotel was phenomenal. This restaurant was horrible and empty inside. We should have picked the fine dining restaurant or the small one on the other side. We won’t be back.

This was fairly typical of what you would expect from the main restaurant at a Marriott. The food was all decent but not great or particularly exciting. We had very good service. I would recommend if looking for a convenient lunch after arriving to the hotel.

This is the restaurant where they serve hotel breakfast buffet. The buffet spread is 90% same every day. The dinner choices are quite good & definitely taste great! Most customers would choose to sit outside with great view but beware of winds ladies!

The Hacienda Kitchen Beautiful setting over looking the gardens.. A wonderful selection of creative food Combining familiar with new creations. Celebrating the cuisine of Costa Rica. Service is helpful efficient and happy.. Jorge (JB) and Lillian are a great team.. Our food was delicious, freshly prepared and we were instructed to leave room for dessert. The pastry chefs are amazing It’s been a long time since we had pastries that had flavor!! not just sugar..

My team of coworkers wanted to celebrate the accomplishments of the month with a good lunch. A friend at work mentioned the 8,000 colones price for a small lunch buffet at La Hacienda, and it seemed too good to be true, but it was… so we all went there and had a great meal. We had tacos and italian style chicken, salads, deserts, drinks, and even a great cappuccino to finish a nice lunch. We had a great time and a very nice meal. Most agreed we should come back to repeat the experience. So, if you happen to be around, they have this option on weekdays, and it’s a good one.

Very tasty and very cozy place to eat. Excellent if you are looking for a corporate lunch. The bad thing when we went was that there was only an option of meat.
