First timer here. We went in for some lunch I had the pastrami sandwich and my cute little wife had the tuna sandwich.
We also ordered the zucchini and man was it good. We received an enormous plate I was a zucchini with some ranch dip and we both really enjoyed that. There was so much that we had to take some home. The pastrami sandwich was one of the best ones I’ve ever had and I will definitely be going back for that. My wife really liked the tuna it came on toasted bread. They have a fairly extensive menu and they even serve breakfast.

I have loved this place since I was a kid and I hope it never goes anywhere this place will always be a staple in my heart please try them if you haven’t and love a good burger and the BEST onion rings I’ve ever had.

I took my wife and daughter out for breakfast. We had very friendly service in addition to the generous portions of delicious food. My country fried steak, eggs with biscuits and gravy was amazing. The restaurant was bustling with energy and was very busy. The prices were affordable and every was happy.

Accidentally went through the drive through right before closing but I had the best service by Lucero she was super sweet and friendly also was not shy about being bilingual (Spanish) which we loved. Felt very welcoming 🙂 Food was also very good, we will definitely be returning soon!

Staff is very friendly, and this place is usually busy. What I dont like is the wait time, especially in the drive thru where it can 30 minutes on a busy day to get to the window, otherwise the food is good and worth the wait. The portions are large. I recommend the chili fries, hash browns and the 2 for 6 hamburger deal they have is great.
As for the milkshakes .their machine is always down. So if you are looking for a milkshake go somewhere else, maybe orcutt burger. This is why I only give it one star.

I passed by this place all the time and have never seen it. I was definitely missing out. I typically go to a few other places when I’m craving a burger and fries and will likely be heading here instead from now on. The burgers and sandwiches are good quality not great but good and the fries are a fairly large portions. Of things I’ve tried here on separate occasions I really like the bacon cheeseburger, the chicken fried steak sandwich was okay, the fries are good, and the curly fries were also good. I will state that I think the curly fries are even better if you just wait to reheat them at home because they keep the spices and crisp up just a little bit more. All in all it’s a good place and the staff is really nice.

When I ordered I asked if it was possible to get a chili cheese burger with the chili on the side so my bun would not get soggy on the way home. The cashier told me yes they could do this. I waited about 10 minutes and she then told me the cooks would not do this. I took the burger out to my truck and below is a picture of the burger and fries. The bun was already soggy and smashed and the fries limp and cold. I won’t go there again.

It’s one of my favorite places to eat but today one of the servers handling the food had latex gloves on to do table wipe downs and to pick up dirty plates with trash and was still wearing the same dirty gloves to handout food and at one point she went to check the restrooms with the same gloves on I literally lost my appetite. Santa Maria Burger please do better to follow food safety practice’s last thing you need is a bunch people getting food borne illness
