This was by far the best sandwich we have ever had. The gentleman explained the history behind the restaurant is a must know. I won’t steal their thunder the staff is amazing and Jack leading the team and giving the best recommendations! Appreciate you jack!

I decided to stop in on a whim and inquired about a la carte meatballs at the food counter. I was met with lukewarm service and initially told they have frozen ones and the cashier gestured to their freezer case. When I said no thanks I didn’t really want frozen she then told me they do sell ready made hot ones which I bought and used to make a meatball sandwich when I got home. Really it was the service that killed the experience for me. It’s a drastic difference from Claro’s Italian deli which I usually go to even though it’s further away. I probably won’t be back to this one. I can get better selection and service elsewhere. While the cashier wasn’t outright rude she wasn’t friendly either and I definitely felt she didn’t care if I was there or not. I would have gotten the same warmth from a robot.

I came here for their amazing food but recently I have been buying wine here as they are getting some cool options. They are doing a winery showcase with the De Stefani winery from the Veneto Region. Very Good Value!

Wow, I wish I would’ve found this place sooner. I stumbled to this place when I was shopping at target. I ordered a few different pasta dishes, and the spaghetti with sausage and meatball. I also tried the special cold sandwich and this had to be the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not really a cold sandwich person, but the cashier talked me into trying their best seller. Amazing 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Sandwiches here are so good. They feel simple with high quality ingredients. Got the spicy capicola and it was amazing. Pasta salad was on point. Staff was wonderful. Jack brought a meatball out for us to try and that was quality meatball. Will definitely try the meatball sub next time

@santafeimporters1947 has been around since 1947 and they are an Italian deli with freshly sliced cured meats and delicious sandwiches. They have two locations in seal beach and the original in long beach!
My favorite was probably their special sandwhich. It came with tons of cured meat on a soft French roll and something about mayo, bread, and cold slices of meat just go so well together!
They also have tons of cold sides like potato salad and this pesto tortellini pasta that I really liked!
$15.69 small 7 inch hot pastrami sandwhich
$12 spaghetti with meatballs
$16 10 inch special sandwich with imported ham, salami, and Swiss on a French roll

Usually order the spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. Sometimes an Italian sub. Everyday there is a new special and you can dine in or take out. They have a full blown deli as well as a lot of authentic Italian products you can buy. The owner and staff are very nice and personable. I like supporting small family businesses. The original location in long beach has been there 75 years.

We’ve ordered the after 4pm family special time and time again. It’s a large serving of both pasta and salad. Great go-to on busy weekday nights.
I also love their store section. We get licorice, italian wafers, wine and pantry goodies.

Bread heavy sandwiches not worth the price. Staff isn’t outgoing, felt like i was at a family joint dealing with the kids that didn’t want to work for dad. Great meat selection if buying for home, also wonderful little food things you could make a picnic basket with .
