This location is located within the El Dorado Royal resort. It is a simple location with a steakhouse feel. It was my wife’s birthday and we had a group of 9. We were told they have a max of 6 seating and we could not all sit together. I noticed 2 rooms with large tables for 10. I asked about them at found that in order to sit in these empty rooms, I would have commit to buy either 2 bottles of wine for one of the rooms and the other room 3 bottles. I wanted our group together so I did it. If felt more private and it was nice. The food was ok but the New York steaks were inconsistent. Good flavor but some of the steaks were very fatty with parts you just can’t eat. This restaurant is upstairs and difficult for one in our group that is in a wheelchair from an injury. We carried her up to join us.

This has been our favourite restaurant so far. The service was amazing. Such a friendly waiter. We were sat by the balcony which overlooks the Mangroves. When you go out to look you can see the Crocodile which was so cool. Loved the empanadas with the sauces whilst you chose from the menu. We had the ceviche, Octopus & Chorizo croquette for starter which was perfect shard between two people and all really tasty and well presented. We then went for steak for main, which was huge! Both cooked to perfect medium rare. Highly recommend having the steaks!

I recently dined at Santa Fe Grill in El Dorado Resort in Cancun, and I had a fantastic experience. The breakfast was outstanding, earning a perfect 10/10 rating. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bread was absolutely delicious. As for dinner, it was a memorable experience, especially with the option to try the tomahawk steak, which comes at an additional cost. The overall dining experience was great, and I highly recommend Santa Fe Grill for both breakfast and dinner.

This is apart of El Dorado Royale resort. All inclusive but there extra items you can pay more for like Ribeye or lobster
Had the Short Rib and it was very good, fall off the bone and a good size portion. Also tried the shrimp, it was very good but the size of an appetizer. You can skip the desserts n8t everything else was very good

We have eaten here for breakfast and it was great. We tried it for dinner. What a mistake! The Octopus appetizer was tough and chewy. The Flat Bread was terrible. Worse than a hot pocket. The bread was thick, not flat. The cheese was barely noticeable and the spinach was raw and just put on top. The prosciutto was chewy and barely edible. The lobster bisque and lentil cream soups were both watery and bland. Worst bisque I have had. The beet roots were delicious.
I had the short ribs, which were ok, but again, not tender and moist but dry and chewy. The lentil dumplings had no seasoning. They could have been good with a bit of salt or any seasoning. This was the worst meal we have had in 13 years of coming to this resort.
It is sad to see the standards drop to this level.

Very nice dinner for our first night. Open Table reservation was done ahead of time. Tables are spaced a good amount apart for added safety. Staff takes all COVID precautions. Food was good. They did run out of some dessert options but it was toward the end of the night. We learned that there are some off menu options so ask your server.
