I always have the best experience whenever I have breakfast at the Sunshine Cafe in Santa Barbara. I have moved to the Bay area and miss being able to eat there more frequently. The food and service are absolutely incredible and the coffee YUM, just perfect! I can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Upon entry, we were seated quickly in a nice clean booth. My wife ordered a mimosa (next time, ask if the customer wants garnish in their mimosa, mint is not normal), I had coffee. The attendance was beyond expectations. I ordered an eggs Benedict with excellent hashbrowns, eggs poach perfectly, and the english muffins were soggy. Most likely caused from the chef putting the poached eggs on the toast too early, leaving the water to soak the toast.
On another note, I would have the manager check the toilets to see if they are loose. There was an odor of sewer leak upon entry. This is a common issue when the gasket under the toilets is not properly sealing the sewer pipe from the toilets.
We will return, I don’t think this is cause for concern, but it should be noted.

Wow! The food is spectacular! I had the Santa Barbara Scramble (shrimp, pesto, avocado and a whole lot more). My wife had the Salmon Benedict (the best Benny we have ever tasted). It’s a little place, in a strip center, but an absolute must try.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in SB-Goleta. The menu is packed with traditional favorites, the coffee is strong, and the service is flawless. The open industrial interior is spacious and can accommodate groups of all sizes. I love their homemade corned beef hash and the huevos rancheros Verdes. Both are the best in town by far.

Not impressed. When you walk in it’s very loud. It was very busy! The industrial look is not welcoming. My eggs Benedict was cold and the eggs were over poached. The sauce had congealed.
My wife’s bacon had obviously sat around as it was cold. I hope our meal was just a one off.

Me and my husband have been coming here for the past 2 years!!! We love everything about Sunshine Cafe. Amazing staff and the best chilaquiles ever!!! We also order the vanilla latte. Definitely best breakfast spot hands down! We will be coming here until we can no longer!!!
