The sushi was good for a Midwest location. The Beef Bulgogi was too sweet. Service was friendly and professional. I would actually not recommend the dish in the picture. It looks nice but it tasted somewhat stale. It’s called Sushi Cake based of the name alone I should have known better.

This place is so cute. The soup was great, and they had the best ginger salad I’ve ever had. The sushi was sushi. We had 2 really good rolls, but nothing really stood out. I was also disappointed they didn’t tell you the names when giving you the plate. So I’m not saying the sushi was bad, but that same sushi at another place. I would expect to pay $11-15 at the most, not $17-22. I also didn’t like that the prices are not offered on the menu but on a separate piece of paper.

This THE place to go in Lansing for a beautifully prepared and presented and of course fresh and delicious Sushi! Beautiful interior. Very Japanese. Fabulous service. You can’t go wrong if you like sushi or other related Japanese dishes.

Four of us got a bunch of rolls. All were excellent. The Philly cheese steak roll was amazing. Tempura shrimp was also excellent. Very full. Took some home for a later evening snack. Staff did an excellent job of getting our salad, soup and rolls to us. Very well done.

It was our first time here and let’s say we loved it. Atmosphere was pretty cool. I was surprised I had to take my shoes off to dine in the area we ate in. The server was very attentive and made great recommendations. We all dug in before I could get to many photos but believe me everything tasted great. If you’re in the area I highly recommend making it one of your stops!

10/10 EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I’ve been coming here for years ! This place is top tier. The quality, the service and atmosphere are top notch. I’ve tried many different dishes. My favorite being the Beef Teriyaki. The meat is tender the vegetables are cooked to perfection. Their Vegas roll is the absolute best!

Stopped in to Sansu for a quick bite to eat on my way out of East Lansing. The restaurant is huge and right off of campus so it was mildly busy when we went.
We tried some appetizers and had to get the crispy rice spicy tuna, a fan favorite. We tried a platter of mixed sushi, all were very good. The noodle dish was decent but I wish there were more noodles!

Awesome rolls and sushi. One of our favorite things about this place is the floor height tables. When that section is open, we always sit there because you can take off your shoes and sit on a floor pillow to eat with friends. Unfortunately, it’s not open sometimes due to staffing. You should try this place, just call ahead of you want to sit on the floor!

It’s good quality sushi, but you’re paying for the fancy building, seating arrangements, and private rooms. I can think of 5 better places in greater Lansing, much cheaper, quality is equal or better. This is cute for a first date or holiday, but prices have doubled in the last 12 months.

My favorite sushi place. I always get their champaign rolls, which have never disappointed me. Their miso soup prior to the rolls coming out is great addition especially in coming in from the cold in winter.
