Simple local restaurant with limited seating but we still usually get a walk-in spot. The meals are always outstanding – excellent flavours. The kitchen is always busy keeping the take-away crowd happy. Very good value.

Have been going to Sanooks since it first opened and the food is delicious. The flavours take you straight back to Thailand!
Fish cakes to start with (just love the dipping sauce). Tom Yum Goong Fried Rice is awesome. Penang chicken, Pad Kra Prao roast duck so succulent and tender. Many other dishes to rave about.
And not to forget really comfortable seating which is a rarity in restaurants.

Tried Sanook for the first time in many years tonight and felt disappointed The red Thai curry had little seafood with squid and prawns overcooked and the larb chicken was missing any mint. Could’ve made better myself at home if I’m honest. 5 years ago this place was delish but sadly I can only rate it 2 stars and that’s only for the Tom Yum soup

The Thai takeaway was great. All the portions were generous, making it great value for money. The food was good quality and fresh. I’d recommended for a nice Thai meal at home!

We stopped in for some good Thai food and were not disappointed! The spice levels were right where we like them level 5 and the flavours were superb. We recommend Sanook Thai Cuisine for a great Thai food experience! Keep up the good work!

The Thai Green Curry is so delicious. Very recommended. Especially if you have it with hot steam rice, thats enough.
We had Pad Kra Prao (Thai basil flavoured stir fry vegetable, with seafood) and Thai Beef Salad and Peppermint tea…. lovely atmosphere and very skillful waitress and dedicated staff. We will be back.

I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants, and have lived in Thailand for more than 10 years. The simple dishes of Noodles like Padthai and Pad See Ew should have been at least one of the best tasting but I was wrong. When the entree came they were good, but when the mains came it was a disaster, they were both a bit wet with liquid still on the plate around the Noodles, I noticed they cooked them quickly, I understand that maybe others didn’t notice if their food was a bit off but I would because having been from the country and lived there I know the taste and consistency very well. I don’t expect it to be the same because it’s tailored for Aussie taste buds but both noodles had something off about it. It’s the first time that I ate in a Thai restaurant here in Perth that this was my experience. I suspect it’s either the chicken or the sauce, especially the Pad See Ew. It’s like there’s an after tase when I ate the chicken. They ended up giving me back the money for the Pad See Ew, I wasn’t able to enjoy my Padthai either. I hope they put some love to their food because that’s how I know Thai people are especially with their food.
