Just had an amazing brunch at Sano in Kirkland Everything’s organic and grass-fed, served in compostable green containers. The avocado toast, egg toast, and chia pudding were all delicious—and the Mexican vanilla bean latte + matcha latte …Incredible. Fast, friendly service too. Highly recommend!

Sano Kirkland is an awesome cafe! Very cozy vibe, great music, and the coffee is delicious. It really has that perfect “local coffee shop” atmosphere. The service is fantastic, everyone is always so kind and welcoming. I love this place

My Kiddo says: “Right when we got in, they welcomed us and told us to sign in. A nice person helped us get our drinks at the counter. The Sunshine Dream smoothie was really tasty! I liked my dad’s PB acai bowl too — and my dad agrees!” (5 Stars)
Dad says: She’s right — the PB bowl was great. Fresh, filling, and hits the spot after a walk around downtown Kirkland. The space and people are a little on the sterile side, but everything was clean and quick, and the food definitely delivers. (4 Stars)

Organic, minimalist, so yummy! If you love clean vibes, yummy food and drink, and kind, helpful baristas, welcome to your new work coffee shop! It wasn’t overly busy, it’s nice and clean, the wifi was accessible, and I had the yummiest matcha and smoothie, omg! Definitely coming back for the vibes, the people watching, and that comfy window spot near the fire

I love the vibe here. The folks who work at this location are also very friendly which makes for an even better experience. It’s chill where appropriate but steps up the game when it comes to the food – best avocado toast in town. Simple, clean and excellent olive oil. Also they have a lovely Mexican latte. Can’t recommend this spot enough.

LOVE this place! I have a lot of dietary restrictions (AIP) due to an autoimmune disease and can rarely eat out while also having the food be compliant. The staff was great about making a few changes to my smoothie and checking ingredients. I was so excited to see bone broth on the menu and oh my goodness!! It was incredible! I got the Immunity Chicken broth and I had to restrain myself from ordering another before I finished my smoothie. So good! Can’t wait to go back again and I am very pleased to finally have a place I can go eat out with friends. Thank you Sano!

I’ve been coming to Sono for a bit now and figured it was time to leave a review. It’s easily one of the better spots in Kirkland if you actually want a meal that feels fresh.
The main thing for me is the salads! They don’t just give you a bowl of lettuce. They’re packed full and you can tell they aren’t cutting corners on the ingredients. Everything tastes high-quality. Also, their cold brew is worth a try if you’re not into that super bitter, burnt taste. It’s really smooth and easy to drink.

Sano in Kirkland is an absolute gem. The food is incredibly healthy without sacrificing flavor everything tastes fresh, thoughtfully made, and genuinely delicious. It’s one of those places where you leave feeling good about what you ate and satisfied.
What really sets Sano apart, though, is the staff. Every visit, they’re welcoming, friendly, and happy to help with recommendations or customizations. You can tell they truly care about both the food and the people they’re serving.
If you’re looking for a spot that nails clean eating, great taste, and top-notch service, Sano is a must.

The food is outstanding; the ambience needs urgent attention from owners!!! I really want Sano to survive and stay in Kirkland for the long run. Their food is delicious and the menu is fantastic, however the decor is too sparse, cold, and the furniture distribution doesn’t make sense.
I hope the owners read these recommendations: 1/ You urgently need to move the bar sitting around the windows to the oposite side of the restaurant. 2/ You need to move the garbage console to the opposite side of the door. 3/ You need to add (or move) the tables with chairs to the newly opened and bigger space near fireplace after completing 1 & 2.
4/ You can add smaller tables between the open kitchen counter and the bar sitting (newly relocated-refer to 1/) for additional seating. 5/ You can add heaters outside. 1-3 are must do. Your decor and distribution, as is, is not welcoming. Most people are not compelled to come in and/or stay because the vibe is unwelcoming and institutional. Sano won’t succeed unless you revise the set up!!

Sano is a super cute new cafe in downtown kirk. I got the shaken blackberry espresso spritz with oat milk and it was delicious! Definitely recommend if you like coffee or italian soda type drinks. The menu decently long for a soft opening and I can’t wait to go back to try the salads. There are two gender neutral bathrooms which look wheelchair accessible and which are very clean.
