One of the biggest advantages of this place is its excellent location. It’s just minutes away from Gillette Stadium, making it a very convenient option before or after events. The large, free parking lot is a major plus and removes any hassle around finding parking. The restaurant also has a banquet hall adjacent to it, which looks well-suited for private events, celebrations, or larger gatherings.
The ambiance is nice, clean, and modern, and the setup feels comfortable for both casual dining and group visits. They also have a fully stocked bar, which adds to the overall appeal, although we personally did not order any drinks during our visit.
Overall, this is a conveniently located restaurant with good food and solid amenities. With a bit more focus on enhancing authenticity and flavor depth, it could easily become an even stronger destination for Indian dining in the area.
From the moment the food arrives, the aroma and presentation transport you straight to India. It’s rare to find this level of authenticity in the US, and they’ve done a fantastic job recreating it here. Even the ambiance feels warm and inviting, making the entire experience nostalgic and comforting.
If you’re looking for genuine Indian flavors or simply want to relive classic South Indian dining memories, Sankalp is absolutely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back again.
Ambience & Location:
The restaurant has a very spacious dining area with a bar and event rental space. Its location right off Gillette Stadium makes it easy to find (definitely check traffic updates on game days). We visited on a weekend and were seated right away without any wait.
Food & Menu:
The menu offers a wide variety of regional Indian options and is well organized with color-coded sections for easy reference. We started with soups and Gobi Manchurian, which was crispy, flavorful, and honestly the best we’ve had so far among Indian restaurants in the New England area. Even the kids loved it.
We also ordered butter garlic naan, onion kulcha, the staff-recommended Handi Diwani curry, and Hyderabadi biryani. Everything was very good—though the garlic naan was slightly dry, it was still tasty. The raita portion was generous and refreshing. We finished with malai and mango ice cream, which was a nice touch.
Value for Money:
Prices are reasonable given the variety and quality. For a family of four, an average of $20–25 per person felt fair.
Service:
Service was quick and attentive. The staff was courteous, checked in regularly, and accommodated special requests.
Overall, this was a great first experience, and we’re looking forward to returning to try more dishes. Highly recommend visiting Sankalp in Foxboro if you’re in the area. Good luck to the Sankalp team!
Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable visit. Would definitely go back to explore more of the menu.
My wife & I were well taken care of by Prabhat and his service was excellent, but there’s plenty of room for improvement for the restaurant as a whole when it comes to service.
We also enjoyed the appetizing Manchow Soup, and Ghee Dosa on the side was crispy and delicious. And to top it all off, the Coffee was a perfect ending. The portions were generous. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back!
A huge location, they clearly have room for events as they were hosting some things upon entry.
There is almost any indian or indo-chinese dish that you could imagine on this menu. And it is all very tasty. We were quite hungry so got samosa chaat, dahi puri, chicken manchurian (gravy), paneer masala, and garlic naan. Truly a feast, but everything was made so well and was super tasty.
I would say the service was average. We had to remind our server multiple times for the beer that I had ordered and they tried to switch the wine by the glass we ordered, as they didn’t want to open a fresh bottle (even though it was on the menu and offered).
The food came out super quick and they had a sizzling brownie on the menu that looked awesome.
I would highly recommend for a good, casual indian spot!
