We chose Sanjh to celebrate our big day, and it was a fantastic decision. The reservation process was fast and smooth—I definitely recommend booking ahead for weekends to avoid the wait. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated quickly. Our host was wonderful, making us feel genuinely welcomed and acknowledging our special occasion.
The drinks were a highlight. The Bay of Bengal Gimlet was lovely and sweet, while the Bagan Time offered a sophisticated, Negroni-like balance of sweet and bitter. The star of the night, however, was the Sandalwood Hi-Ball—the infusion of sandalwood into vodka some ginger and citrus notes was phenomenal.
The appetizers were flawless. We loved the Nilgiri Jhinga which is tandoori shrimp and the Tandoori Cornish Hen—both were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Per our host’s suggestion, we tried the Dahi Puri, which was a flavor explosion and a new favorite.

Our only minor disappointment was the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. The curry lacked basic flavor profile, the earthy fenugreek notes, salt, and spice that we expect, and the naan was a made thin and it hardened quickly. However, the Lamb Chops were exceptional. To top off the night, the staff surprised us with a dark chocolate cake with “Congratulations” chocolate note on the cake. Despite the small setback with the main, the specialty drinks and amazing staff, the clean ambiance and sophisticated decor sets the perfect tone for a high-end dining experience making Sanjh well worth the price. Highly recommended this restaurant!

It all started with the hostess. Smiling and welcoming. The restaurant’s ambiance is cozy and elegant. This was the best and most authentic Indian food I have ever had. Please try the butter chicken and the chicken tikka. Our server Pavneet was professional, personable kind and friendly. The manager Aryan was attentive with great customer service. Thank you Pavneet and Aryan.

Sanjh Restaurant was such a great find! The appetizers were phenomenal—Barwah Paneer was hands down a standout, perfectly spiced and packed with flavor. For entrées, the Dal Makhani was rich and comforting. The Saag Paneer was fresh and nicely prepared, though it leaned a bit on the milder side for our taste. Even the non-alcoholic drinks were impressive and super refreshing. Everything tasted authentic and thoughtfully made. Highly recommend this restaurant! ️

I had an incredible experience at Sanjh Restaurant in Irving. The whole team was amazing from start to finish, and our server, Susmita P, was so kind and super knowledgeable about the menu. She helped us choose a few dishes, and everything she recommended was spot on.

The food was honestly so delicious and full of flavor. My favorite dishes were the Dahi Puri, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and the Tandoori Cornish Hen.

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful inside, and the whole vibe is really upscale but still welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had in Dallas so far.

Food was flavorful, Dahi puri is a must eat item. The flavors burst inside your mouth.

Paneer Tikka was so soft that it melted inside the mouth.

Dal Makhani was awesome. Tandoori roti & kulcha were excellent.

Aloo Gobi was an okay item we did not enjoy it much.

They surprised us with an anniversary cake, taste was also excellent, if it is on menu I would order next time.

Rasmalai is sweet and unlike any other which you may have tried traditionally anywhere in DFW. Order one for sure.

Clarita was very good at her job and she took good care of us. Ask for her when you visit.

Portion sizes were apt for the two people. I feel on a weekday lunch hours you should get a table even if you walk in. The location, surroundings are very good.

Must try items
Dahipuri
Paneer Tikka
Dal Makhani
Rasmalai
Tandoori Roti/Kulcha

Sanjh – A Memorable Fine-Dining Experience

Sanjh offers an amazing ambience paired with impeccable service and truly delicious food. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Our server, Rohit, was courteous and knowledgeable—his recommendations were spot on and elevated our dining experience.

We ordered the Bharwan Paneer Tikka, it was stuffed from inside and bursting with flavor; the paneer was fresh, soft, and absolutely melt-in-the-mouth. The Dal Makhani was rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying—comfort food done right. Every dish tasted authentic and freshly prepared.

With its elegant atmosphere and exceptional hospitality, Sanjh is the perfect place for a date night or celebrating special milestones. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined and memorable dining experience.

We had a group of 5, first impression of ambience… its decent but little congested seating… started with drinks… cocktails are limited and everyone ordered a different one… unfortunately except a mango mocktail.. all cocktails were below par.. we even got one of them replaced.
Apetizers are very good, especially dahi chaat, paneer tikka and chicken tikka… lamb chops are under cooked.
Main courses are really over priced.. meat curry taste is good but for that price not worth it. Their signature butter chicken is dissapointing for me… expected a more smoothy dish.
Out of the full menu… i would say the worst dish is lucknow chicken biryani… just ignore it. After eating so many biryanis in dallas… this is too bad.
Laccha paratha is not good, garlic naan is okay.
Rose lassi is not good
Desserts are top notch… rasmalai, ghevar everything is too good but remember they are pricey…
Service is the best.. literally the best…they go above and beyond… we got Sanju as our waiter and he is too good to even replace a drink.
I might return may be for any other occassion in future.. but it is pretty okayish experience for us for the cost we paid… too much

We were celebrating a birthday dinner, and overall it was a wonderful experience. We tried the seafood, lamb, and chicken each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. One thing that surprised us was that even simple sides like raita, cut vegetables, or sauces came with an additional cost. We understand the fine dining concept and the premium pricing, but including a few of these sides could truly complete the meal and elevate the overall experience even further.

They did surprise us with a lovely portion of birthday cake, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening.

We dined at Saanjh on my birthday. I chose this place as its reviews. It was weekday so full with work or official dinner meetings. We had to wait for 20-25 minutes.
We ordered lot of food and every item was good to taste but not quantity according to price. Also, felt like server was taking too long to take order as well as serve the food . It took 2hrs for dinner that too when menu items were limited to choose. Overall good experience but it is a way too pricey.

We had an absolutely delightful experience! The food was exceptional — the Dal Makhni was one of the creamiest and most flavorful I’ve ever had, and the Smokey Paneer Tikka was perfectly marinated, bursting with rich, aromatic spices. Every bite felt authentic and comforting.
The drinks were also top-notch — beautifully balanced and presented with care. The ambience added to the charm: warm, inviting, and tastefully decorated, setting the perfect tone for a relaxed evening.
Our server/hostess Gayatri was incredibly polite and attentive without being intrusive — something I really appreciate. What truly made the night special was the surprise birthday cake they brought out — such a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel genuinely valued.
Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great Indian flavors, impeccable service, and a touch of heartfelt hospitality. Will definitely be coming back!
