This is an outstanding Mexican restaurant. When you sit in the bar area, you can serve your own chips and salsa. The food is very fresh and tasted excellent. I’ve been here a couple times and have not been disappointed. There is plenty of parking and even an outdoor area to sit if the weather is nice. Definitely will come here again when I’m back in the Denver area.

I was with a large group for this and the restaurant was very accommodating – we did call ahead.
The server was helpful, friendly enough and dealing with a group of about 20 women… big kudos!
Food was hot, delicious and just what you would expect. We had a little of everything. Sopapillas were soo good!
I’ll definitely be back and love it as an option for groups with the accommodations made and plenty of parking.

The Jose of old is gone. They seem to be relying on their name instead of the food quality. Quesadilla, bland. Fajotas, bland. And they pack so many peoe into the dining room, conversation is nearly impossible. Only redeeming factor was the prickly pear marg.

We chose this restaurant for a small family get together and we were very happy with our choice. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring we were always taken care of. The food was very fresh and delicious and we didn’t have to wait for too long for our meals to come out of the kitchen. We wound up staying here for quite a long time for our family lunch and I started to feel that maybe the staff would get annoyed by us staying so long, however they were very hospitable and made our dining experience a joy. I will absolutely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Lisa H is an amazing server. She gave us great recommendations, especially the Palisade Peach Margarita and the cream cheese enchiladas! First time in Denver area and would definitely come back here. They even give you candy with your bill!

Our club booked dinner for 30. Our tables were ready when we arrived. We had relative privacy. Our server was amazing! He took all our orders at once, split our checks without error and made sure our drinks were never empty. Our food came out mostly together and was delicious. Great ambiance, creative menu, overall a really great experience!

Have not been in a while and it was great! Very mild Casa Bonita vibes. Very mild, barely a comparison, but the decor and cream cheese enchiladas are a similar vibe. Apparently we were there on the first night of their own version of a crunchwrap and it was great! This place is a Lakewood institution. I need to come back more often!

Great Mexican restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The free chips and salsa were fantastic—the salsa was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The food tasted like real, authentic Mexican cooking, not watered-down or generic. Every staff member was kind and attentive, doing constant check-ins to refill drinks and bring more salsa without us even having to ask. Excellent service, great food, and a place I happily recommend.

The salsa and dip were great as well as the prickly pear margaritas. I came in for happy hour and a togo order. From the moment I entered I was greeted by Jessie the lovely host who was very kind. My server was Rose and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I really enjoyed my visit here. Love from Memphis.

Brought a group here for lunch today. Had a terrific lunch. Casey was our server and he was great. I had the taco salad and it was fresh with a beautiful presentation, flavorful and abundant. This has been a favorite for years and it’s just as good now as it’s ever been.
