This place is really fantastic. Food is top notch. Waiters and servers are very friendly and answer all your questions. I happen to go on a Thursday and there was singing which definitely added to the atmosphere and made the experience even better. They said there is live music on Wednesday and Thursday. I recommend their stuffed shrimp and their chicken. Sangria was great and made correctly. Anything you get on the menu is really good. Save room for dessert especially their Tres Leche.

My boyfriend and I went to Sangria 71 to celebrate Valentine’s Day yesterday and although it was packed and we had to wait like 30 minutes to be seated, we still had a lovely time there. The waiter, Javier was nice and polite and offered a good service. Food came out fast considering it was Valentine’s Day and everything tasted delicious.

We went on Valentine’s Day (with reservation) and it was packed, still had an excellent experience. Food came out quickly, service was generally attentive. Prices were on the average to minimally higher end, fair overall. The Cava sangria was excellent! The croquetas de pollo (chicken croquetas) were very good. Calamari was well cooked, not rubbery at all. Bravas were lightly spicy, as the Spanish gods intended. Overall great experience.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much on a Friday night that we returned on Saturday night during our recent visit to Long Island. Great wine and great value on wines by the bottle. The food and service were terrific on each of the two nights. Entrees, tapas (appetizers) and desserts were large portions.

Came here to celebrate a birthday, we had a party of 7 for lunch on a Sunday, and we were accommodated very nicely. Lots of parking, and the fantastic decor lent a very warm atmosphere.
The food, the wine, the service, it was all great. Servers hovered but weren’t overbearing, food came out in a timely fashion and were very well prepared. Standouts were the octopus, lamb chops and paella.

Sangria 71 is a restaurant that I accidentally ran into while trying to find a new place to eat on Google, we went for happy hour with dinner afterwards. The martinis were good and strong but the sangria I felt were watered down no matter what flavor was ordered, the food was absolutely amazing BUT a bit pricey to be eating here all the time. Atmosphere is nice and laid back perfect for date night or a group gathering

Had my birthday dinner here last night. We were waited on by Kevin. He was attentive, courteous, and worked quickly. It was a full house we had to wait a bit for some of the dishes but most of it was worth it. Some of the dishes lacked flavor, seasoning etc but texture was good. They do offer valet parking however I found that to be unnecessary I parked across the street instead.

I ordered the lobster from the special menu. I was very surprised that the whole lobster was $25. And it tasted pretty good.

We went here for Easter Sunday. As you can imagine it was busy. Half the party was already there and had ordered drinks. We arrived and settled in, waiter came over to get our drink orders but we were still looking. There was probably a twenty minute wait that occurred, we didn’t mind since we were talking, but we had expected someone to come over. We placed our drink orders and app orders. Another wait and they took the entree orders. The drinks were tasty and they had several flavors of Sangria, so definitely consider this place for the drinks. The apps started coming and we were famished. Most of the apps were tasty, but not memorable. We got a garlic soup that was really good. The entrees were fantastic, good portions, very well seasoned. Because of their selection of food items, I see myself returning. I hope to amend my service score, but I am sure it was a fluke.

This is an awesome spot. They have really good food. I had lamp chops with rice and they were just the best. We also ordered the grill shrimp and it was delicious! The broccoli was steamed nice to perfection. The Casa Cosmo drink will make you ask for double, amazing! Definitely come here.
