Pit stopped here during my grocery shopping.
My South Indian veg thali was delicious.
My chapathi was soft and the kurma was creamy.
Kara kozhumbu could have been more tangy and punchier in flavor, and my mango pickle was sweet. Finally, my kesari bath could have been sweeter.
Friendly and courteous staff.
Ambience was pleasant and very clean.
Overall, a nice meal

Walked in for lunch around 1 pm and managed to get a seat soon. Now, before I write about the food, I want to mention that their service needs to be improved. Either they have a shortage of staff or they need to do better.
Ordered the idli vada combo with masala dosa and kuttu parota for lunch. Honestly, everything we ordered tasted okay — not great not bad, just fine.
The filter coffee was decent as well, but the chiku shake was too milky and sweet for my taste. The fruit in it was hardly noticeable. All in all, the experience was okay.

Our large group of 12 were seated promptly and orders all came out very timely, good service overall.
This was our first time visiting Sangeethas and their food was a big hit!! All dosas from Rava Onion, Karam Masala and Mysore Masala were perfectly crispy and flavored, but the hero Dosa was their Ghee Roast (Ney Roast). Other menu items were all equally good and we enjoyed our Saturday lunch here.
Only complain was the lack of Air Conditioning on a hot/humid Saturday, but looks like the restaurant is undergoing some internal renovations. Highly recommend visiting this place for their tasty food, but after the renovations wrap up if you are visiting on a hot day.

I went there last Sunday for the first time since this was highly recommended by one of my close friends and I would say that I wouldn’t go to any other South Indian restaurant from now on. The Thali that was daily special was sooo good that I really thoroughly enjoyed it. The eggplant sambar was spicy but really awesome. They even provide a free rice refill and some curry refills which is great, especially when some places charge you for the extra rice. My wife and my 2 year old had the cheese dosa and the gobi 65. My 2-year old son really enjoyed the gobi 65 but kinda passed on the cheese dosa. Not saying that the cheese dosa was bad, I would just have the normal dosa next time I go there. The regular sambar is also really good. Overall a very good first experience and would rate the thali the best in the DMV area. Next time would be the dosa and idli.

It was our first time experiencing this restaurant. From outside fantastic location with abundant parking. When we stepped inside it was full 3 mins before someone pointed us to our table. There were a few customers dinning. The tables were filled with dirty dishes. We found a table and stared at the sticky menu.
We ordered Menu vada & Mysore sada dosa. The servers were unprofessional as they were college students & poorly paid. The food was delicious hot and truly authentic south Indian. We also ordered filtered coffee and had to sent it back as it was luke warm.My question to owners why not spend on decor recarpeting. The present carpet stinks and is very old and dirty. The cutlery needs to be upped as well. One cannot eat in foam containers & dirty unwiped tables. The food being so delicious it has to match the decor & Ambience. Hoping to see some improvements on my next visit.

Went to Sangeeta’s since it’s a vegetarian restaurant. My wife and I ordered the thali, and I really enjoyed it—the spice and salt level was perfect for me. My wife felt it was a bit salty, so that’s one reason for 4 stars.
My daughter got the mushroom dish and my son ordered paneer curry. It was okay, but honestly, ordering North Indian curries at a South Indian place (and vice versa) usually isn’t the best move—so that’s another reason for 4 stars.

Super delicious food and everything was prepared fresh and served hot. It took some time for the food to come but the amazing taste made up for it. We had dosa, Chana bhathura and Chettinadi dosa and all dishes were soooo good. The wait staff was super sweet and hospitable. We will be coming back soon and often.
